The once green and flourishing grassland is now dirtied with ashes and covered with a thick layer of fog, sending unpleasant dust and smell to the eyes and nose. Even though the grassland was polluted, there wasn't sound pollution as the air was filled with a ringing silence and not one gun clicking was heard unlike like a minute ago. Those who took shelter when hot rain poured upon the field with sizzling sounds managed to save themselves from the final blew that came from the sky where the General was falling from with the massive serpent-headed rock. The clash caused the roaring hydra to let out a screech before a blood-curdling scream replaced it as two figures crashed into the field and
The war came to an abrupt halt when the General came crashing down with a massive serpent head in her hand as she smashed it down on the head of the water hydra which had Fern's assassin in it. Hot water splattered everywhere when the hydra got crashed and steaming hot droplets rained upon the grassland and burnt those who were trying to escape. Then, the field was left with corpses of those who fought well but did not survive, broken weapons and staining, hot steam that fogged up the surrounding and blinding the opponents.
Just then, a silhouette raised within the fog and panted as its figure heaved. Everyone held their breath as they anticipated for their own win which they prayed for and defeat which they cursed at. Anyone could've been the winner though the Infernos were positive that their General had well survived because that's what she is. An unstoppable survivor. Yet they also carried a small sense of doubt considering the lava-like water the assassin had and even a droplet felt like a fire burnt. What's it like to be showered by it then?
The question remained dangling in the tensed air until the fog gradually subside and a bright red colored the standing figure. Not even a second in, the Infernos immediately erupted into a thundering cheer and holler when they recognized their General's eye-catching armor. To the armies of Infernos, it was their first win against the Ferns but little did they know their young king was winning all along ever since the moment he had her in his chambers. She was his biggest and most prideful win and she had yet ceased to bring him just that.
While the Infernos fisted the air and cried in joy, their opponents remained silent. The armies stayed quiet because they lost a war but their royals kept their mouth shut so the young king of Inferno would forget his intention in slaughtering them for revenge. Yes, even though Jimin didn't reveal his plan, the royalties of Fern could read his dagger gaze and could easily tell that he had something else planned for them. As a cherry on top, his announcement of his hidden power brought greater fear to those who hurt and mocked him before and the only thing they could do was to stay out of his sight.
However, Fern's wish wasn't fulfilled when the fog fully faded away and a glow illuminated from the opposite side that even made the once hollering armies to quiet down. The glow brightened as it made its way to the front and wobbly yet dangerous aura. There in front of Inferno's army stood their young king with his hair, eyes and body glowing in silver that even his veins started to show under his skin, causing gasps and wows to fill the air.
Jimin had held no shame or timidity when he allowed his power to take over his half-naked body and let it light up. He could feel his power pulsing within him, thumping his thrilled heart and rushing his blood all over his body, feeling himself grew stronger and even more euphoric. His fists clenched and glows of silver pulsed through the veins in his hands, his jaw clenched and the veins in his neck popped with lines of glowing silver as well. His council members were shocked to see such phenomenon happening even without the basic requirements which their scientist member claimed to be necessary.
While others cheered for her, Xena couldn't feel a single pore on her body as it swayed a little. The steam wavered from her body and faint sizzling sound could be heard from her skin as the water layered her form. The burning pain was so agonizing that the General couldn't even move her body without feeling her skin tearing or limbs melting so she just stood there with her eyes glued to the pool of blood that her sister was laying in. The crack in the assassin's head was too gory to even glance at yet the General showed no sign of disgust or discomfort and only had a blank face on without a hint of mercy or guilt. After all, she's a stranger to her biological family.
