I quickly combine the mixture for Javier with shaky hands and hope that I don't ruin it. When I'm done, I sit beside him and smile down at his sleeping face.

On the outside, It must've seemed like I was my usual self but on the inside, I was a scared, wailing, distraught mess.

"I'm going to save you my baby boy." I say to him and kiss his forehead.

I have Casper tilt his head back and I ease the mixture into his mouth and down his throat. When I make sure that he has taken the required dosage, I ease his head back onto the pillow. I rub my hand through his hair to soothe him and I have no idea if he can feel it.

Casper squeezes my hand and gives me a brief kiss on my forehead before backing away. I return his small smile with a weak one of my own.

I say a silent prayer to the moon goddess and drink my part of the mixture, I then hold his hand and close my eyes waiting for sleep to come.

When I open my eyes to unfamiliar grounds, I look around in confusion wondering why I am here. It has a clear, green landscape and it's beauty is of nothing I've ever seen. I walk a while before I stop in front of an unfamiliar building but I get a feeling like I've seen it before.

I go up the stairs and let myself in. In the middle of the hall is a young Casper and beside him is Adrianna clutching a little boy, I assume is Javier to her side.

He gently caresses her cheek and she leans into the touch. I hide behind a wall hoping that I'm not spotted.

"I have to go now Anna." He softly says to her.

"You don't need to go. Please stay here, you might get hurt."

"I won't. I promise to come back to you safe and sound." He reassures her and presses a kiss to her forehead. He does the same to Javier.

"Casper please, I won't be able to live with myself if something happened to you."

"Anna we don't have to do this. Trust me, nothing will happen. I'll come back here without a scratch while you stay here and protect Javier. This isn't something I can ignore."

She stands on her tiptoes and kisses his chin, "be safe okay?"

I hold my breath and press myself against the wall hoping that he doesn't sense my presence. I stare at his retreating back.

Yep. Definitely Casper.

The door shuts with a bang and I release the breath I was holding and take a peek at Adrianna.

She looks around the house warily and I feel a menacing presence. It seems that she feels it too because she's running to the staircase while looking over her shoulder.

I follow her as she goes upstairs and runs down a hallway. She comes to an abrupt stop and spins around immediately. I expect my presence to be questioned but she just looks through me at something behind. I follow her gaze and I don't see anything but I feel the overwhelming presence of something terrifying.

She quickly enters a rooms and I follow her. She shuts the door and locks with a click before opening the closet and pushing Javier in.

"Stay here and don't come out okay? Don't make a sound no matter what.

He nods and she hugs him.

"Don't come out until you hear me tell you that's it's okay. Don't make a sound, not even a little noise. Do you understand?"

He nods again.

She whispers something I believe is a spell as she caresses his faces and then kisses him on the forehead.

She stands up and steps back before shutting the closet doors and whispering something again. There's a loud bang at the door and both Adriana and I jump. She frantically searches around the room for something.

She finds a small knife and stands back while whispering something to herself. The bangs on the door get louder and harder. She nervously glances at the closet where Javier is hiding.

The door finally breaks down and I press myself to the edge of the bed, even though I can't be seen, I'm still terrified. I spare a glance at Adrianna and she holds the knife in front of her with a stance. I see her lips moving, to fast for me to read but I know she's reciting some spells.

I see the same shadows that attacked me that night, make their way through the door. They are almost twenty of them and I see Adrianna waver with fear for a second but she immediately steels her gaze and stands her ground.

"Back off. Stay away from me."

She tries to fight them off with the knife but they over power her and soon enough, she's on her knees with the left side of her face, pressed against the cold tiles of the floor.

"What do we do now?"

"The boss wants her alive."

Their voices sound like nails scratching against a board.

"Do you think that we can have a little fun with her?"

I watch them converse amongst themselves while Adrianna struggles for her release.

One of them looks down at her with a sinister smile, "I guess the boss won't mind if she's a little roughed up."

I see him grab her arm and twists it behind her head in an unimaginable direction. A loud crack resonates throughout the room along with Adrianna's scream of agony. He doesn't stop there; the shadows then twists her arm some more and finally gives it a sharp pull. I watch as he tears her arm form her body.

Bile rushes up my throat. They laugh amongst themselves. Adrianna struggles to catch her breath after a long harrowing scream. Tears stream down her face as blood flows out of her injury. The shadows throws her arm across the room.

"Let's do another one." Another shadow says.

I stay there and watch in agony, listening to Adrianna's hellish screams and the shadows vile laughter as they tear her apart, limb by limb. I can only hope that Javier never heard or saw any of these terrible things that happened to her.

When they're down to the last limb and Adrianna, laying in a pool of blood with her life seeping away, they decide that it's is enough and take the ripped apart body and her disconnected limbs out of the room.

I bury my head in my arms and cry. I can't believe that she went through all of that right before she died and she most probably went though worse when she was handed over to their boss. When I finally raise my head, I see the floor once covered in blood, clear.

Confusion paints my face. That is until I see a fully untouched Adrianna, limbs in place with Javier on her hip run into the room. She rushes to the closets and opens the door before pushing Javier in and I realize that this is a memory loop and this scene is going to keep on playing.

I've been sorting through my clothes for five hours now and I'm so tired. I never realized how many clothes I have but I'm not throwing the ones I'm not using away, just giving them out.
