The realization of Ishita choosing someone over him in her grief knocked out the senses in him. the anger which he distanced himself from made way into him. he was mad at her. she always chose someone other than him to share her grief and problems. once it used to be Bala then Shagun and the gang and now Mani. she always made him feel like an outsider. he felt betrayed, his love for her was over looked by her. and everything faded out once this thought settled in.
Ishita on the other hand felt terrible seeing him angry. she did not know that he was angry for hiding from him. she assumed that he was angry for coming back, for being alive. that killed her more. she was frightened to see him for if she found the same disgust in his eyes, the one that she saw on their last meet before she tried committing suicide. she could not even in her dreams think Raman could actually forgive her. so she was nowhere near in thoughts to comprehend his anger. but the one thing that puzzled her was, if Raman was so angry towards her, how could Pihu knew her? She knew about Raman's anger. he could have done everything in his power not to let Pihu know about her mother. but from what Adi said, Raman not just let Pihu know about her but has always talked about her to their little one. Even when Pihu saw her, according to what Adi said was Raman took her inside and said
"Pihu beta....you know, you see right your mumma there...why didn't you talk to her?"
"but Papa, mumma was dead no...you said after accident people go to God and will never come back. How could mumma come back?"
"because God listened that Pihu always asks him for her mother. he felt bad for taking your mother and said to her to return to you.."
"really? will my mumma now stay with me?"
"hmm..no beta..papa was angry on mumma for driving car so fast that day. and me and mumma are fighting. now if you go to mumma she will think it's okay to drive the car fast, anyways she got you right? so first we shall make her understand that one should not drive car fast..then we can talk to her"
"haww....mumma should know papa that one should not drive fast. see now only she came, if she did not drive fast that day, ruhi didi would have also been here."
"yes my intelligent betu..now we stick to plan and for few days you stay with shagun mumma and manoj uncle. okay...then when mumma realizes you are also not talking, she will understand her mistake."
the thing Ishita could not understand was, did Raman rally hate her as he shows or does he still care for her as she saw on the day they were drunk. why recite stories to Pihu if he really wanted to get rid of me. If Ruhi wasn't to be found, they would have parted ways again. all these questions bombarded her head and she badly wanted some fresh air. she looked down and saw Adi sleeping in her lap. She got up and settled him in sofa carefully. she wrote a note that she was going upstairs and stick in on to the back side of the door so that he would not get tensed and walked to the terrace.
Raman was already on the terrace trying to figure out his emotions towards Ishita. Now Ruhi would be coming, he wanted to be sure about the way he would behave with Ishita. Ishita came and saw Raman on one side of the terrace and hoping he would not notice her, she moved to the other side. Raman who turned then towards the entrance, saw Ishita going towards the other side. he wondered whether she deliberately going the other way not to see him. he was unable to take this turmoil. he wanted answers from Ishita. he wanted to know his place in her life. so that he could know how he should behave. he did not want to keep hopes. because she lived with her friend all these years. that friend had been her confidant and supporter where he failed to be one. if she do not want him in her life anymore, he would accept that and prepare himself.
She sensed his movement behind him and knew it was him. both their heartbeats were thumping in their chests and they feared the other would know about it.
