My feet were numb and my hands were freezing. I ran away from the hospital to see if there was any other place that I could go. Maybe I could find my family again. I doubted it. The signs for missing children were long gone, and anyway, that was wishful thinking.
In the distance was a building. A huge fence surrounded it, along with sharp wires along the top. It looked like a kids prison.
I had to use the rest of the strength I had left in my body to run to the walls of the building. I had been walking for so long, my body couldn't handle it anymore, and I passed out.

Slowly waking up, I soon realized I wasn't outside anymore. My heart started to race.
"Where am I? How did I get here?" I wondered.
I thought I was loosing my mind until someone spoke.
"You passed out," A women said. I looked up. She was sitting above me, her face obscured in the darkness.
"One of the guards saw you and was nearly certain you were dead, but I convinced him to bring you in."
I looked at her.
"So I guess I should thank you?" I asked, holding out my hand.
"No need to thank me."
I put my hand down.
"What is this place anyways? A prison or something?"
"You were lucky enough to not be with another person, but you still should be concerned. This is a military school."
"What happened here?"
My heart started to race again.
"I can't tell you, but you'll find out sooner or later. Just stay out of trouble and follow every order given. If you don't, you be in a lot of pain."
[Pain. How fun.
