E L L A

The lunch room stunk. Apparently someone had thrown up, which didn't surprise me, considering what they fed us. This someone's name was Peter. At least, that was what the lunch lady (cane in hand) had yelled.

"So when are we going to talk to Brian?" I asked, covering my nose.

Aidan glared at me. It had been two years since we'd last seen Brian, when we left him and Trevor with the same psychopaths who had kidnapped and tortured us. We'd seen him, but hadn't yet had a chance to talk.

"I don't know," He said finally. "We could try and find him after breakfast"

I nodded and rested my head on his shoulder.

"Fine."

One of the guards started to yell.

"Alright. Get up and go back to your rooms!"

As ordered, we got up.

"I'm going to go and try and find Brian, you coming?" I asked.

"Ella, no. We can go later, its too risky right now."

I gave him a faint smile.

"See ya!" I replied. Turning around, I went on my knees and slid past the guard, entering the hallway.

"Ella!" Aidan hissed.

It was too late. I was gone.

It took me about thirty minutes to finally find Brian in the hall.

"Brian!" I yelled, quiet enough so that no one would hear me. He didn't seem to hear me. He just kept walking.

"Brian!" I whispered again.

Still nothing.

I finally just gave up and ran after him.

Literally tackling him, I jumped on his shoulders. We fell to the floor.

"What the-" he started.

"Brian! For gods sake I called your name like 3 times!"

"Sorry, I guess I kinda just zoned out," He said sat up, shaking. I got off of him.

"Can you talk?" I asked.

"Uh. Yeah sure. But I don't think we have much time."

"It doesn't matter. It's better than nothing." I helped him up and pulled him behind the wall. "So what do you need to say?"

"How did you get here?"

"That's a long story, you sure you want to hear it?" He asked, looking at me.

"Yes."

"Well, Keagan, Trevor, Lia and I were sitting in the torture room, you know, w-waiting for our turn. I was the first to be called in."

"Why?"

"I don't know. Let me finish."

"Sorry."

"Anyways, I was dragged into the room and I was ordered to take my shirt off. So they had me hung from the wall by my wrists. They called Keagan in and made him sit and watch. They didn't tie him down though, I don't know why. They cut my back about a million times. Finally Keagan couldn't handle it and more so he got up and took a gun from the closet. He shot the ceiling and ran, warning Trevor and Lia on his way out."

He paused.

"Tell me more," I said.

"I will."
