A I D A N

I tried not to think of the things that could happen to Ella if she did ever get caught. She could be tortured, even killed, if they caught her.

I headed up to my room and looked down at the bed. Red sheets were spread across the mattress, along with a bright blue pillow. What's the red made out of? I wondered. Blood? Dust filled the air when I sat down.

"Damnit," I muttered. "Why did I have to be the one here?"

A voice spoke.

"Because if you weren't here, I would be without you."

I looked up. It was Ella. She came up and hugged me. I hugged back, resting my head on her shoulder.

"I'm really glad you're okay. How did you get in here without getting caught?"

She held up a key.

"I have ways."

I laughed.

"Okay then."

A couple minutes passed until one of the guards came in. He shoved two more kids into the room. Keagan and Brian.

"Here," he said, pointing to the two boys. "These kids are your new roommates, like it or not, deal with it."

"Okay," Ella said, signaling the boys to sit down.

The guard gave her a strange look.

"This room is BOYS ONLY. What are you doing here?"

Ella stood up and crossed her arms, fixing the guard with a glare.

"Well, if it weren't for your-"

"You know what? Shut up. I don't give a fuck anyways. You can do whatever you want, as long as it doesn't affect anyone else here."

I blushed.

"Sir..."

"What?" He snapped, glaring.

"We're not doing anything like that..."

Without another word, he left the room. Everyone looked at Ella. I slightly moved over and put my hand around her. She looked up at me and sighed.

"When are we ever going to get out of here?"

"I don't know."
