Waking up in my own bed for the first time in forever? Felt like waking up on Christmas morning.

I was surprised my mom actually let me come back home.

I just know Twan was going crazy and losing his mind. I knew I wasn't exactly safe from him being home. All of my things were still at his house, luckily he broke my phone so now we don't have to even communicate.

Momma was downstairs, cooking as usual. I could smell the cinnamon all throughout the house. It was no place like home.

"Good morning ma." I smiled softly as I walked into the kitchen.

"Morning." She said all nonchalantly.

I really wasn't trying to get in her way so I just stay in my room for most of the day. Momma had to be a little mad. I knew she really didn't want me in her house, especially since I'm pregnant by one of her ex-flings.

Me and momma looked at each other with after hearing the knocking at the door.

"That better not be that man, cause if it is your ass can definitely leave with him. And I mean that. " Momma said as she turned to me. "Go answer it."

I hoped and prayed it wasn't Antwan at this door. I haven't even been home a whole 24 hours yet.

"Who is it...?" I said while standing on my tippy toes, trying to look through the peak hole at the door.

"Open this door girl!" The woman on the other side of the door said.

"Chanae!" I yelled after opening the door and seeing my big sister, Nae.

I haven't seen her since I was 14. She was living down south, we talk all the time on the phone but it wasn't the same as seeing her in person.

"Hey Tutty Tot!" She shouted excitedly as she pulled me in for a hug.

"Oh my God. I didn't know you were coming up! Why didn't you tell me?" I said as we continued to hug, rocking each other side to side.

"I told momma to tell you." She said, then breaking the hug after we both turned and looked at momma.

"Momma!" We said in unison while laughing.

"I wanted it to be a surprise. But what I do know is that y'all better get y'all behinds in this kitchen and help me make this breakfast!" Momma joked.

"Here I come..." I said before closing the door and following Nae into the kitchen.

"Aye, wait! Damn Chanelle, fuck the guys huh?" I heard my big brother, Calvin say before I could completely shut the door.

"Right man, like damn." Darrell, my sisters husband added.

"You guysss!" I smiled and said, as I ran over to them with open arms for a big welcoming hug.

I couldn't believe my sister and them was really in Philly! I missed them all so much and was glad they came down.

After dinner, I went upstairs in my room just to straighten it up a little before I laid down.

"Knock, knock." Nae said softly as she peaked her head in my door.

"Come in." I smiled and said before taking a seat on my bed.

"What's up Tutty Tot!" She said after sitting next to me, nudging my arm and laughing.

"Oh lord, not you calling me that too!" I smiled and rolled my eyes playfully.
