"I'm sorry who are you?" The lady asked Billy just as Freddy and Brooklyn got there as fast as they could. "His name is thunder crack. Hero to the people with the power of speed and lighting all in one." Freddy announced happily as he and Brooklyn stood together and Brooklyn crosses her arms.
"Dude, that sounds like a butt thing!" Billy whispered. "Uh, Mr. Philadelphia!" "That's a cream cheese thing dude!" Billy yelled. "Power boy, cause you got all the power and sometimes pepper spray can't fight of all evil."
Brooklyn chuckled before clearing her throat. "Ma'am, are you going to be okay?" She asked with concerned in her voice. "Yes, I'm fine, actually." Billy punched the man who was sent flying to a bunch of trash cans as everyone gasped.
The woman, who looked frightened rambled through her purse and found $73 dollars in there and handed it to Brooklyn. "I-I-I didn't see you. Just please don't hurt me." That's when she ran as fast as she could away from them. "Billy, dude, we just gotten $73 from some random lady. But, what should we spend it on?" Brooklyn asked. ~•~ The three went to Seven-11, which was a few blocks from the park. As they entered, Billy walked up to the cashier before asking her this, "I like to purchase your finest beer please." Billy said in his adult voice.
She looked at him up and down before pointing down to one isle as Brooklyn and Freddy has followed him. "Billy, I don't know about this. I mean, we don't have any fake ID's." Brooklyn said as she bit her nails nervously. "Brooklyn, Freddy, would you two relax. Okay, I'm the fake ID."
Just then two men wearing ski mask came in holding guns as Brooklyn ran to hide. Afraid. "This is your chance." Freddy said to Billy as he was basically telling him to go be the hero in the act. Billy awkwardly ran over to the two men. "Gentlemen, why use real guns when we can handle this as real men."
One of the men points his gun in Billy's direction but luckily Billy slaps it out of his hand but the other one points his at Billy.
"Billy look out!" Freddy yells out but it was too late because he had shot Billy and Brooklyn hugged Freddy, to afraid to hear the gunshot. But while she was hugging him she heard laughter coming from Freddy.
Brooklyn looked up to see Billy completely unharmed and the bullet on the floor. "Bullet immunity, you have bullet immunity." Freddy shouted as Brooklyn giggles, Freddy then gets his phone out and starts recording.
"Today, is December 8, and today we are going to be talking about invisibility." Freddy says. Billy handed the men their guns back, they shrugged and started shooting at Billy's face as Billy said that it tickles.
Brooklyn thought of another way that they could use the bullets on Billy so she said, "Shoot him in the face." She said. "Yeah, shoot me in the-. In the face?!" Billy exclaims but before he could stop them, they started shooting.
Billy started laughing until he turned serious. "Your dead!" He wrapped the robbers in Christmas lights and threw them out through the window. Brooklyn, Freddy and Billy walked out with beer bottles in their hand. "Sorry about your window, but your lucky for not getting robbed." Billy shouted, ignoring the men on the floor who were groaning in pain.
"Hey," Billy said as he popped off the cap off of his beer bottle. Brooklyn and Freddy looked at him and smiled as he held his beer out. "To fighting bad guys." Brooklyn smiles and the three clinked their drinks together before taking a sip.
They immediately spit it out before it went all the way down their throat. "Oh my god," Brooklyn said as she was gasping for air. "That taste like actual vomit." They went back inside again and bought real good food.
"You know having beef jerky, if you eat enough of it, it can burn a hole in your stomach," Freddy told them. "Freddy, why would you say that when I'm eating a beef jerky right now?" Brooklyn asked as she was laughing.
The three looked at each other before Brooklyn and Billy said in unison. "Worth it."
A young woman in her twenties walked pass Brooklyn, Freddy and Billy but looked to see Billy in his adult form. "Oh. Yeah. Sup, I'm a Superman." "Yeah his name is Captain Sparkle Fingers." Freddy said that sent a laugh from Brooklyn.
"What? No- no it's not. No it's not!" Billy shouted, but she was already gone to go inside of the store. Brooklyn shook her head and patted Billy's arm before secretly giving Freddy a fist bump. They heard chirping noises coming from a police car. "Shit! It's the police!" Brooklyn said as she ran as fast as she could away from the scene.
"Hey wait up!" Freddy shouted as him and Billy followed her. ~•~ Brooklyn found a cool spot. The place where Rocky trained at. "Man, this is a pretty sick view. No wonder why Rocky worked so hard to get up here." Billy said as he munched on his chips.
"You know, I like you like this. This is cool. I mean, no offense, but like at first you were kind of the opposite of how...of how Darla is."
Billy raised his eyes as Brooklyn nodded lightly. Brooklyn yawned and laid her head on Freddy's shoulder as she felt her eyes getting heavier than before. "Welp, I guess it's time for us to go home." Freddy said.
"With me looking like this?!" Billy asked as he looked down at his costume. "You're right." ~•~ Sneaking into the house wasn't hard for the three, the back door was still unlocked from where Freddy and Brooklyn had left earlier. Rosa and Victor were in the living room talking about something.
"You said it's not home until you call it a home," Victor said. "It's something you chose. All we can do is give the twins a place full of love, whether they chose to call it a home is up to them." Brooklyn felt that they were right as she looked down at the ground.
The three continued to walk up the stairs to their room until Billy stepped on the creaking stairs. "Hello?" Rosa asked as she started going towards the stairs.
"Um, it's just me and Brooklyn. She got lost going to the bathroom so I'm just helping her find it." Freddy said making up a lie. "Oh okay. Goodnight." She said. "Goodnight." Billy said making Brooklyn give him a glare.
"Kids who was that?!" Rosa asked. "It was Billy." Freddy said as Brooklyn face palmed herself in the face. "Billy, let us see you." Billy, Brooklyn and Freddy entered a room where Rosa couldn't find them. Just then the lights came on and they saw Darla staring at them.
