"A lair?"
"Yes, and obviously we're going to have to be making this purchase anonymously," Freddy said as he looked at the real estate agent. The woman stared back at him in disbelief as her eyes flickered at the two teenagers and the adult.
"Obviously." She muttered. "Oh, and we were kind of hoping for a location on a cliff maybe. Overlooking some water. Water is the key." Billy said. "Yeah a waterfall would be so cool." Brooklyn said as she beamed with excitement.
The woman blinked before letting out a small sigh. "Look maximum...voltage, is it?" She asked, looking at Billy. "Just call me Max." He said winking at her.
"Look, Max, why don't you start with how many bedrooms you're looking for," the woman suggested.
"Seven." Brooklyn whispered. "Yep seven." Freddy agreed before smiling at her and looking back at the real estate agent, who was still looking shocked.
"One." Billy told her at the same time as Freddy and Brooklyn. He blinked and looked at Billy confused then the woman closed the book and Brooklyn noticed this and face palmed herself in the face.
"I'm so sorry ma'am. Let me escort these weirdos out of here." Brooklyn apologized and grabbed Billy and Freddy by the ear and the trio left. ~•~ Freddy watched the brunette girl in amusement as she was dressed in girly clothes and mouthing to Daya: Sit, Still, Look Pretty. She smiled at him that sent butterflies through his stomach.
"Have you seen the one where he throws a football into space?"
"So dope."
The trio looked over to see a few kids crowded around a girl's phone as they watched some of Billy's videos where he testing superpowers. "You know, you guys got to be wondering who's filming those, right?" Freddy asked. "I mean, the bravery in of itself." The kids looked up at Freddy for five seconds before turning back to their phone which made the young boy smile.
"It's okay, Freddy spaghetti. Plus, you did really good on working on those videos." Brooklyn smiles and lightly punches his arm, making Freddy smile and blush a little at the girl.
"I mean, is it though?" Billy asked, shrugging his shoulders. "Yeah. I'd actually argue maybe even more brave," Freddy said while Brooklyn chuckled. "Holding camera?" Billy asked.
"Hey, Freddy worked hard on the camera, thank you very much!" Brooklyn said in an excellent accent. "Hey, Freeman." Burke sneered as he and Brett came out of nowhere and startled Brooklyn.
"I-I wouldn't do that if I were you!" Freddy stuttered as Burke held his shirt and held up his fist. "What, is your girlfriend gonna hit us again? Or his your bestie gonna hit us with a wheelchair?" Burke and Brett taunted.
