sunrise and 7-11

they arrived at chars apartment and they both immediately headed to the couch and began to set up her tv

about 30 minutes and a lot of bruises later, the tv and the stand was set up

they flopped down on the couch and grabbed the plastic bag with their assortment of snacks in it

by this time there was about 1 hour and 30 minutes until sunrise

the girl grabbed the remote and layer back on the couch as karl grabbed the fluffy blanket draped over the back of the couch

he draped it over the two of them as he scooted closer to char so the blanket would spread evenly

-charlotte pov-

karl scooted closer to me as i blushed while looking over at him, tbh he did look really cute

i cant think this! he's my neighbor for christ sakes plus i've only known him for 24 hours

but he is really cute

i blush more thinking about him and face away trying to his my blush as i didn't want karl to see

"char are you blushing?" karl questioned while laughing

"n-no it was just cold outside so my cheeks are red" i say trying to quickly make a cover story

"mhm" he said scooting closer to me as he put an arm behind me resting in the couch

it wasn't touching me but it was definitely something

-time skip-
-narrator pov-

the movie was almost over but the sun was about to ride so karl and charlotte paused the movie and gathered blankets and what was left of their snacks

they opened the door quietly as it was 6:15am and didn't want to wake anybody up and have then yell at the young adults

karl guided the way to the stairs that lead to their apartments roof as karl had lived here a lot longer and knew where everything is

once they got onto the roof they were both hit with a wave a cold air as charlotte shivered

"do you want my hoodie?" karl asked looking over at the short girl

"yes please" she said in defeat knowing sm he would tease her later about being cold

they got to the spot as karl took off his hoodie and handed it to charlotte

she thanked the man and put it on, it smelled like him

she didn't want to seem creepy by smelling it so she acted like she was taking in the smell of the quiet streets of the city

it was warm and she was happy

they sat against a wall as they laid down their ball of blankets and got comfortable

they snacked and listened to music as they watched the sunrise

it was beautiful to say the least

charlotte was amazed as back in her hometown they never had sunrises like this

karl noticed the shock on the girls face

charlottes mouth dropped in aw of the sight before her

karl laughed, shaking the girls attention from the sky to the boy sitting next to her

"what???" charlotte said

"sHe ThOuGhT tHe SuNrIsE wAs PrEtTy BuT i ThOuGhT sHe WaS pReTtIeR" karl said in a jokingly tone

charlotte burst out laughing as she went through a tumblr phase when she was 14 and it brought back flashbacks

"nooooo!!! you ruined the sunrise for me!!!" charlotte said crossing her arms and pretending to be mad

"i'm sorry i know the joke was just too advanced for people like you to understand" karl said facing away from charlotte

karl now also had his arms crossed and pretended to be mad

"i'm sorry karl i can't stand to be mad at you!" charlotte said as she spun around and hugged karl from behind

"yeah i'm pretty powerful like that" he said laughing as he turned around

charlotte burst out laughing

"no you idiot i just felt bad cause you have me your hoodie!" she said laughing even harder

karl thought charlottes laugh was the cutest thing ever but he wasn't going to confess just yet, they haven't even known each other for a day
