{Jayden's POV)

Number 9. Hmmm... Let's see.

Ah! Right, Go to Iceland and watch Aurora
Borealis! Or is it better in Finland?

Hmmm...

Why is writing a bucket list so hard nowadays?!

I mean, I could just put anything and more if I want to, but the top 10? Maaaan! It's so dang difficult.

It's actually a common thing. Maybe most of us really want to have a bucket list.

Especially, a 24 year old who's been working his/her ass off (that's me), adventurous and living a happy-go-lucky life (decided to do so for some reasons), good looki--

"Talking to yourself again, Jayden?", Mika teasingly asked.

Oh crap. Did I say something out loud again?
This mouth of mine is so unbelievable.

"Ah? Hahaha Well, I was just thinking about something. You know? When I get so excited, I tend to talk nonsense. J-just don't mind me." I told her nervously.

"Nonsense, eh? What I heard didn't sound like one. But, I bet you really wanna go somewhere. Your face said it all" she added and chuckled.

She didn't hear the latter part? I'm saved!!!!

(But it's true tho. I'm a good looking person! Trust me ;) )

Mika is my roommate. Actually, there's three of us living in this house for two years now. Mika, Louis and I are colleagues and living together for many months, we're actually like siblings. We are all girls. But, I'm different. I'm bisexual..We treat each other like siblings.

"So, where you off to again? Iceland?", Mika curiously asked.

"Uhmm. Yeah! This is not so me. You know how YOLO my life has been ever since I-l-I got my-", I couldn't finish my sentence. The memory came rushing again.

"Yeah. Of course I know... Skip that part, alright? So?", she interrupted.

"Yep! Yep! Ahh.. uhmm. I'm planning to achieve all the things I'm gonna write in my bucket list. One of them is seeing the northern lights!", I proudly told her.

"That's nice! I think you have saved enough money. Rich peeps can go there, so I think you're one hella rich now, paps Jayden Seth Marquez? Wanna treat us in a luxury diner before you go there?" She playfully replied.

(We call each other "paps" if we think that the other one just got salary or has saved money for travel, celebration, etc)

"Really my complete name? Tss..
Of course! I mean, I don't have the money yet, still working on it. And yes for the diner, it's my 8th on the list", I showed how my bucket list.

Mika read all the things I wrote in my bucket list. She even told me that those were so petty and I could achieve them all in just a year or two. She bid her goodnight after  messing up with me.

I'm about to write my 10th when a message from someone caught my attention.

It was actually from my dad.

[Jay, your granny's invited us for her birthday. Take at least 3 days work leave. She said she would like us to stay longer. No need to dress formally and don't bring too much. We'll stay at the vacay mansion]

*Sigh*

Grandma.

Sending me a message like this as If I'm a character in a book being summoned.

And this...

I hope I'm wrong this time.

I hope my grandma and dad will accept who I really am.

I don't want another proposal from a strange guy.

I don't want another set up proposal nor get married to someone I don't really love.

Is marriage really mandatory?

I looked at my note...

I still have my last wish in my bucket list.

My brain and hand connected, I managed to write something unexpected?

10. Don't get married!
