Blue

It was a lonesome night,

I sat on a blue beach.

And wondered, how many screams and

Tears did it take for the ocean to satisfy.

At that moment, soothing rain poured on me

While the cold gusts carved my skin with its

Sharp blades.

The creatures of the night contained me,

The hollowness inside me cannot be filled.

They could see right through me.

They swore to protect me.

And so, the menacing things on that blue beach became her sanctuary.
