The Moon 🌒

"My goddess, it's time isn't it?" Seren asked Luna.

Luna just smiled softly and let the moon rise slowly and let it merge with the sun.

Earth

"High Alpha Pete, Luna Kao." Their beta Khai came running towards them inside the pack house of the Silver Bow pack where the Alphas and Lunas of the four packs gathered.

"What's wrong Khai?" Pete asked.

"Alpha, you need to check what's going on out. It's unusual." Khai said worriedly.

Pete and Kao along with the others wasted no time and ran out of the pack house to see what's wrong and gasped.

"Pete..th-the moon..." Kao said staring at the bloody red sky and the unusually huge and red moon.

"The sun and the moon aligned at the same time." Pete replied in a low tone grasping the situation.

Hearing this Kao snapped his head towards his alpha and knitted his brows in confusion.
"If that's the case then why is the sky like that and the moon? What's happening Pete?" Kao asked genuinely scared as he tugged on his mate's sleeve.

Pete turned around to face his Luna and cupped his cheeks. "Everything is fine my Luna. I'm here to protect you if something goes wrong." He said and hugged his mate tight.

"Let's go inside for the time being and Ben, call the elders to see if they have any clue of what's going on." Alpha Forth told his Beta Ben, who nodded and hurried off to fetch the elders.

When they reached inside the pack house, Kao noticed that Arthit, Kit and Beam were feeling uneasy and it alerted him. " Forth, I need to use the room with the biggest bed in your house and call May and Fai for me please." Kao said in a panicked tone as he guided the three to sit on the couch.

"What's wrong? Why do you need those?" Pete asked his mate.

"There's no time for your questions Pete." Kao replied firmly and as if on cue, Arthit let out a shill cry clutching his swollen belly, catching all of their attention.

"Forth, go now!" Kao yelled and Forth automatically started running to get things ready.

It was time.

Beam and kit too started panting heavily and crying out loud in no time and their mates started panicking.

"They weren't due yet! A week was still left." Kongpob said wiping Arthit's tears away from his cheeks.

"I don't know what's happening." Ming stated clearly worried seeing his mate in immense pain as he cried out loud and bit his lips making it bleed.

Kao had been searching the rooms meanwhile and found what he'd been looking for. "Pete, Ming, Kongpob, bring Arthit, Kit and Beam up here. The second room to the right. NOW!" Kao yelled from the first floor and the three wasted no time and carried the three to where Kao had directed.
