-RUNNN! I yelled from the top of my lungs. I took her small hand into mine. Her green and mesmerizing eyes were drowning in fear and her auburn and short hair was slowly waving in the wind behind. She was beautiful and I had trouble taking my eyes away from her. I couldn't get myself to say her name, it was like I didn't know who she was but at the same time, I knew perfectly.
-We have to get out of here. Now! I whispered fastly.
She nodded in response to my comment and held my hand tighter as she followed me into the woods. One moment after, I felt something taking her away from me... I turned around and she was screaming my name so that I could help her.
-Give me what I want and I'll give you the girl. Said the strong vampire hissing at me.
-Hunter. Don't. She said already accepting her fate.
-I'm not gonna leave you here. I said softly while looking into her eyes that were filled with affection and love.
As soon as I was going to make a move to save her something hit me right in the chest.

I woke up sweating like a pig. I had the same dream again. It was exhausting. The last few nights, I kept on having this dream over and over again like a song that was stuck in my head. Like I had to save this girl I didn't even know from a kind of danger. Who was she? And why was she in my dreams? I rapidly got out of bed and stormed out to my bathroom. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and saw how red my eyes looked. That meant I needed blood, but it wasn't an emergency, so I took the time to look closely at my fangs in the mirror. They had grown the last couple of weeks and I'd have to tell Dimitri about this soon enough. I gently put water in my hands and angrily threw it on my face so I would be completely awake. I glanced again at myself in the mirror, droplets of water slowly falling down my half-naked body. My hand ran through my pale brown hair and I sighed. Another year of high school beginning today. I must have done that same pattern at least 10 times, but I shouldn't complain, I was the guy who was gonna stay forever young after all. 127 years old, but looked 17, yeah that's about it. I went back to my room and put on the first shirt I saw. I was ready for this new school year I guess.***
I ran down the stairs and went to the kitchen. Dimitri was waiting for me in the kitchen, ready to tell me AGAIN the strict rules about human school and how I should never reveal who I am. You see, Dimitri was the guy who turned me when I was nearly dying. I guess he felt sorry for me and thought I would be worth saving. He was wrong, I was just a stupid, useless and orphan boy at that time. My parents had just died and I was lost, after all, it was 1893 and I had nowhere else to go. I didn't even know how old he. he was a couplewas, but I guess years old. I had been living with him for 127 years but I never really thought about asking him this question. Dimitri handed me a sheet of paper.
-Make sure you respect ALL the rules. He said seriously.
His raven black hair was licked back and his pale skin made him look like Snow White.
-You should go outside a little more. You're as pale as a sheep. I said clearly joking.
-Ha.Ha. He said keeping a straight face.
Clearly, my joke didn't amuse him. You see, vampires can't really sunbathe whenever they want to. The sun makes us weak, but we learned, over the years, to handle it pretty well.
-Please go wake up Esme or else she's gonna be late. He stated calmly.
I never knew how he did to be as calm as that every day. But ugh, I hated waking up Esme, she was the worst in the mornings. When I mentioned that I lived with Dimitri, I forgot to mention I also lived with an 80 years old female vampire named Esme. She nearly died in 1940 during the Second World War, but as kind as Dimitri is, he decided to save her too. Don't ask me why he chose us, I have no clue, I just know that since then I've been a vampire and life is pretty cozy for now.

I lazily climbed up the stairs again and went to Esme's room. I knocked on the door three times, but no sound was coming from behind the door. I stormed in and pulled her blanket away from her.
-ARGHHH HUNTER! She screamed.
-Well, hello there! I said laughing
I quickly saw her blond hair emerging from beneath her sheets and she jumped on me. I fastly contained her and put her on the ground.
-That'll make you learn. I blurted out still dying with laughter
-Release me. She said growling.
I withdrew myself and curiously looked at her still on the ground. Sure Esme was a gorgeous girl, but nothing never really happened between us, she was more like a sister to me. At first, something nearly happened, but I backed out because she had to control her urges as a new vampire and after that, we had no interest in each other anymore. I left her room so she could get ready and waited in the living room.

We arrived at our new school 5 minutes late but I didn't care I liked to make remarkable entrances. As soon as I entered my new class, only one face held my attention... I found her.
