Kaylee's POV:
Finally! I thought, arriving to class. My legs were killing me from my jogging this morning. I brutally sat down on a chair in front of the class. I got out a bunch of my stuff and I thought to myself: this is gonna be a long year... My name is Kaylee Stanford. I'm a normal and boring girl of 17 years old and I go to a normal and boring high school. That's about it. For some reason, I'm kinda a popular girl at this school and I didn't even ask for it. All I wanted was to be in the shadows but that didn't really work out. The bell rang, getting me out of my thoughts and the class began.

5 minutes later, someone knocked on the door. My jaw dropped when I saw who it was. It was the most gorgeous man I ever laid eyes on. He had pale and smooth skin like a baby's butt, fierce and dark brown eyes, a seductive and powerful smile was on his lips and he had the kind of hair girls loved. He was absolutely perfect. Behind him was a girl, she was also as beautiful as the mysterious guy. Tall legs, blond hair, blue and vibrant eyes. The kind of girl guys go for... She probably was his girlfriend. Cause no normal girl like me could get someone as lovely as him.

Hunter's POV:
I confidently walked to one of the last chairs that were still free at the back of the class, but inside I was burning. Every question I could possibly ask myself seemed to pop off in my mind at the same time. Who was she? Why did I dream of her? She really existed? When I saw her, I couldn't believe my own eyes. I even think I had an effect on her because she seemed shocked and pleased by how I looked, but soon after her face changed.
-Mr and Mrs. Quinn. Care to tell us why you were late? Said the teacher breaking my train of thoughts
- Oh well, began Esme who was still in front of the class, we were just late that's all, she said compelling him in front of everybody. But luckily nobody seemed to notice. The guys were all drooling over her and the girls were shooting her jealous glances.
I shot her angry eyes. Dimitri made us promise we would only compel people if we really had to, not whenever we wanted. But I guess what he doesn't know can't hurt him. While Esme graciously walked to her place, some of the boys whistled at her and I rolled my eyes.

From where I was sitting I could clearly see the girl working at her desk. I studied her carefully. My forehead frowned a little bit every time she bit her bottom lip when she was trying to find the answer to a question. Her head was slowly moving as she was listening to some kind of music. From what I heard from her earphones, if I concentrated hard enough, I could hear some Pink Floyd. Not bad, not bad. But the real thing I had to find out was why was she in my dreams? I slowly looked at my new "project" again and suddenly I had an idea.
-You, in the front, with the short auburn hair, green eyes and cute freckles. I loudly said in the most seductive way, I knew how to get what I wanted and I was kinda known for being a bad boy at my previous schools.
Every possible girl turned around hoping I was talking to them and the guys were curiously looking at me, daring me to say another word.
Someone quickly touched her shoulder to make her notice I was talking to her.
As she was looking at me, I simply asked in the most seductive way:
-What's your name again?
-Ka-aylee. She stuttered rapidly as if I scared her.
I didn't answer and decided to start working on my homework. Kaylee... mmh? I finally had my first answer. But from the feeling she made me feel when I saw her it would probably be better to forget about the whole dream thing and just never speak to her again or else I would be getting into a very very dangerous game that I won't be able to get out from. I felt the hunger start in my stomach and I knew I would have to eat eventually so I don't kill anybody by error if I'm too hungry. I didn't have to eat every day but my iris turn a little bit reddish when I'm hungry and at the sight of blood my fangs can show if I'm not controlled enough but luckily I am. There was just something strange about Kaylee that made me want to run up to her and taste her heavenly and surely sweet blood. I tried to chase that thought out of my head as soon as it entered. But I couldn't help but wonder what she tasted like... Unfortunately, I have to stick to a blood bag for a long time. You see, Dimitri prefers that we drink from blood bags even if fresh blood is always better. He doesn't reprimand us when we eat from a human, well he does if we kill the human... but we try not to. The bell rang and I exited the class fastly, it was decided, that I couldn't talk to this Kaylee again. And I would probably never find out why she haunted my dreams...
