 The Lab Where Remy Began Phase 4 Zero Gravity

Phase 4 started just like all the rest with blood, work and other tests to get a baseline with which to judge her reactions by in the zero gravity test which she was about to undergo. Remy , was excited to undergo this test as she had heard much about zero gravity and the things related to it. But something felt wrong to her tho right now she couldn't place a finger on it just yet but it didn't feel right to her. And she voiced her concerns to nurse Kimber who reassured her all was going to be fine not to worry that Dr.Ipswich had things under control. But that still didn't ease her nerves so Kimber gave her something to help calm her but a minor does.

Yet Remy's concern made Kimber start thinking that maybe she had premonitions as it were and had seen something or maybe she was a empath of sorts and made note of it.

But Remy's uneasiness still left her on edge and even the med she was given didn't ease it, as she looked at Nurse Kimber and said something that cause a shocked look to cross her face.

"Kimber, just wanted to thank you for not seeing me as something weird but instead seeing me as a being with feelings and such. And if I don't see you again I just wanted you to know this."

Well Kimber looked at Remy13 in shock and confusion and ad ask her why.

"Remy, why would you say that for everything is going to be just fine. But thank you its been a pleasure getting to know you, Remy, and a honor to know something else exists other than us humans."

With that Kimber gave a chuckle and continued with what the doctor had ask of her without much thought, but still Remy's words lingered in her mind and started to eat at her subconscious mind to the point she questioned Dr.Ipswich who almost exploded in anger. He was almost livid questioning her thoughts like she was something with 3 heads and questioning his intelligence. Kimber just looked at him and explained why she had stated such, which only exacerbated the situation and caused the tension filled doctor to explode in a fit of rage.

"Kimber, do I not pay you well to run the tests I order without question? Yet you stand here questioning me to the point you show fear!! Kimber, of all things I would have expected this I had not expected from you."

Dr.Ipswich stated with vehemence shaking his head while he scanned over the clipboard he had in hand making sure every detail was handled with most precise detail right down to the last one. He checked the gauges checking each detail off as he ran the various tests. Dr.Ipswich had blew Nurse Kimber off without nothing more than a shrug of his shoulders then told her to mind what she was paid to do and stay out of his way.Dr.Ipswich even went so far as to do a test run with a dummy to make sure all was in order so that he may conduct the test with no incidents. All checked out fine, he gave a huff and sent for Remy13 to be brought in so the test for zero gravity could begin.

Remy13 was brought into a different part of the lab one she hadn't been in until this morning and looked over the huge room and chamber unable to shake that uneasy feeling that gnawed at her insides like a worm hidden within her eating away at her until she could restrain herself no longer and ask Dr.Ipswich.

"Is this test safe Dr.Ipswich? And what effect do you think it will have on me?" Remy13 ask much to her shock when he bit her head off in reply.

"Well of course its safe I have taken every precaution to see to your safety as well as others. Now why would you ask such? And why now?"

Dr.Ipswich said rather harshly back in answer to her. Now more annoyed that he was with Nurse Kimber, he looked at Remy13 scratched his head rolling his eyes. Then motioned for Remy13 to enter the zero gravity chamber so they could get started. Remy13 complied but still something felt terribly wrong, she couldn't place it or shake that feeling as she timidly walked in and the heavy 4ft thick door closed behind her and the coms opened for communication. Remy took a seat as instructed and followed Dr.Ipswich's instructions fully.

Then waited and for once was glad Nurse Kimber stayed which she normally didn't but this morning she did and Dr.Ipswich ask her to monitor her vitals which she complied but like Remy13 she couldn't shake what Remy13 had said and wondered if she might have had a point but it was to late now as the test commenced.

She monitored Remy13's vitals as she had been instructed and listen as Dr.Ipswich gave Remy13 instructions. Things were going normally then Remy's heart began to race as zero gravity kicked in, first it was just enough to lift her body from the chair and was soon floating her in midair. That was ok until Dr.Ipswich made a few adjustments at the last minute and increased the zero gravity barking out to Nurse Kimber, asking for her vitals. Nurse Kimber called back.

"BP 130/89 and rising temperature 103.3 and rising, pulse 130 and rising, Dr.Ipswich." Nurse Kimber glad Nurse Kimber stayed which she normally didn't but this morning she did and Dr.Ipswich ask her to monitor her vitals which she complied but like Remy13 she couldn't shake what Remy13 had said and wondered if she might have had a point but it was to late now as the test commenced.

Nurse Kimber called out to see him nod then continue. That's when Nurse Kimber heard the hissing sound and told Dr.Ipswich who blew it off. For some reason he was determined to do this test and get the results not even thinking about Remy13.

Dr.Ipswich called out again for her vitals and Nurse Kimber called them out again.

"BP 180/95 still rising, temperature 108.9 still rising, Pulse 175 and rapid, breathing is fast and thready, heart rate 205 beats per minute, Dr.Ipswich."

The doctor nodded and continued tho the hissing grew louder and one of the tech's pointed it out. Dr.Ipswich told him to mind his business and continue. The test carried on until a hose that was connected to the chamber exploded sending two tech's flying across the room with a loud crash as they landed some 20 feet away. The explosion caused Nurse Kimber to jump into the air with a screech, but the Dr. continued the test ignoring the warning beeping sounds that now screamed that something was wrong into their ears. Remy13 ask if everything was ok and of course the Dr. said it was much to Nurse Kimber's shock. She tried to get Remy's attention but Dr.Ipswich caught it and dismissed her with a wave of his hand and pressed on with the test.

Phase 4 was under way and Remy13 had showed no ill effects except her BP & stuff rising but nothing more showed then it happened. A loud explosion that now tore the lab apart at the seams as a rushing wind tore through each and every crack and cranny in the lab totaling destroying it in a burst of flames that now consumed the lab or what was left of it.

Dr.Ipswich was sent through the observation window with enough forced to leave him broken and mangled and knocked out, all the rest lay here and there scattered across the expanse of the lab or what was left of it. Remy13 was jarred hard when the zero gravity stopped suddenly and slammed her against the floor just in time for the lab to explode in a ball of fire.

But Remy13 was protected somewhat within the chamber as she got up and watched in horror as the lab vanished before her eyes and she let out a high pitched scream then fainted from shock.

Remy13 woke up some hours later in a hospital hooked to various machines and strange beeping sounds. She looked around and gasped when she realized she was no longer in the lab and quickly ask a nurse where she was. But no one would answer her for now, but soon released her some hours later when Nurse Kimber, picked her up and filled in the blanks took her to her place for the night until someone could contact Dr.Ipswich or the head of the board that ran the lab, which didn't come until days later.

This was to be the last time Remy13 saw the lab and Nurse Kimber, she was released from the program and had a tracking chip installed, gave a loft apartment and over a million in her bank account along with a vehicle and everything she could possibly need.

That was almost 5 years ago and now Remy13 was just Remy, and was living her life outside the lab trying to adjust to life on the outside so to speak.
