One Stormy Night That Changed Remy.
Mar 16, 2016
One dark stormy night Remy, had decided to go for a long walk not thinking about the weather she walked out her door wearing her favorite jeans and a pair of tennis shoes with her favorite t-shirt that had Motley Crue on the front. Her fiery red hair pulled back in a loose pony tail and cascading down her back she set off towards the woods close by her flat.
Lighting crashed over head but no rain was falling yet but the winds howled into the night whipping her hair across her back and shoulders but she walked onward, she had a lot on her mind and tonight she needed to clear her head. Little did she know this night was going to change her like nothing before ever had she had no idea the next few hours was going to be the turning point in her existence. Her foot steps lead deep into the woods leaves scattered the ground beneath her feet and limbs crunched as they snapped and broke, tho it was night and dark Remy could see quiet clearly and of course the bolts of lighting that streaked across the night sky lit up the woods like daylight.
She strolled on thinking but not paying attention to the winds picking up even more and the lighting crashing all around her getting faster each time it cracked across the sky, she stopped once to have a look around and just as she did the heavens opened up and rain came down in sheets drenching her within minutes but it didn't bother her as she walked on past fallen trees and scattered debris, rocks covered in soft green mosses that begged her to touch them and experience nature in its majesty. But she continued her journey going deeper into the woods over some hills and down a few which now was growing slippery from the rain drenching the thirsty earth beneath her feet.
She crossed a creek that was raging spilling over its banks and the few rocks in it made for a treacherous crossing and once or twice she fell into the rushing knee deep cold water that sped past her face. But Remy, was a good swimmer so this was no big deal and plus it was on knee deep for now.
Having made it through that she journeyed onward coming to a out cropping of bluffs that water now poured off of creating mini waterfalls and spilling down the rocks onto some beautiful green ferns below it, she paused here for a few moments as the rains kept falling with no end and the lighting was crashing across the sky and some bolts even hit trees near by causing loud crashes and cracks as the trees gave under the lighting's energy that split them like they were tooth picks.
Some even sending a shower of splinters flying towards her but she managed to escape harm with her quick reflexes. But that wouldn't save her in the next little bit as she walked on dripping wet from head to toe and her foot steps making odd squishing noises as she walked. New leaves blown from trees bending in the high winds stuck to the side of her face and out of the corner of her eyes Remy saw the bolt coming right at her but before she could move it hit her sending her flying across the ground like a rag doll being cast aside by a petulant child in a fit of rage.
Only difference was she was the rag doll being cast aside as the bolt hit her it knocked her out and she landed with a thud some 10 feet away and lay unconscious in a small pile of wet leaves as the rain continued to fall through out the night Remy, never saw the rushing water that now crept across the forest floor towards her, but soon those icy waters was upon her and cradling her unconscious body and carried it a bit further into the woods and came to stop near a huge rock. Remy lay there for what seemed like hours and hours and morning found her still out and a burn mark at her temple where she had got hit with the lighting bolt.
But the bolt done something and as she lay there memories flashed before her eyes of her home world Valkun and of her parents and others she didn't recognize but still more flooded her mind like something wanted her to remember everything including the day she stepped into the transport pod for what was suppose to be a short journey to a neighboring solar system to collect data but that was not to be. She got caught in a meteor storm that slung her into a worm hole and had sent her spiraling into the earth's atmosphere and crashing into the earth near the Remington gun plant.
And that was where she had been found with no memory how she had got there until now....
