Justice for Tania

Tania, my best friend, was found dead.

When Marco told me that my friend had died, I just couldn't  believe.  

Tania's mother asked me to stay with her that night, I accepted, that night was unforgettable we talked about Tania while we cried, she told me how Tania talked to her about me, I was Tania's only friend when I arrived in Chicago, Her The family had suffered a lot, her father abandoned her and her brother used drugs. He was in a nursing home in Texas. I never met her brother, not even by photo, it was just her and her mother.

The next day Jorge's father arrived, who is a policeman, and would be in charge of investigating Tania's death. Tania's body was being searched before being buried.

Policeman: Good morning, Mrs. Anne, I have come to deliver the results of the autopsy.

As Tania's mother read the results, many tears began to fall, she knelt down and, looking at the ground, crossed herself.

Mrs.Anne: my daughter was stabbed to death after being drugged and raped.

While I walked home I began to remember the good times I had had with Tania.

She had a letter in her hand and she did not leave the letter under my door, that letter was not for me, where was Tania headed?

And in the evening, I called Tania's mother, she did not answer, I assumed that Tania's brother had already arrived and did not want to call again. my neighbor was a widow without children and was friends with my aunt. I went to his house and rang the bell.

Mrs. Baldwin:  Rachel, qué sorpresa, ¿está todo bien? Tu tía me dijo que vendrías si necesitabas algo...
