Chapter 1

Y/n's POV
mom: "Mija wake up. It's time for school."
I wake up and grown because I'm tried cause I didn't get any sleep last night.
This is ur room

Y/n: "but momma I didn't get any sleep last night can I just stay home today. Please."
I look at her with puppy eyes
Mom: "sorry but no....those puppy eyes don't work on me like they used to. Now get up don't make me tell your father to come in here and wake u up."
So I get up and just sit on the edge of my bed for about five minutes and then I hear my door fly open and a pillow hits the back of my head.
Y/n: "WHAT THE FUCK!!!"
And I turn around and I see that it's my dad
Y/n: "papa why would u do that!"
Dad: "sorry but ur mom wanted to come make sure u where awake. Oh and watch ur language."
Y/n: "sorry papa"
And then he walks out and shuts the door and I mock him but I make sure he can't hear me. Then I get up and go get in the bathroom and look in the mirror and I see a big bruise on my leg. And I can't really remember how it got their. But for the past couple of days I have seen bruises showing up all over my body and I can't remember how they even got there. But I don't pay it no mind and I just get in the shower.

15 minutes later
Im out the shower and I think to myself what am I gonna wear today. So I decided to make myself look decent sense it is the first day of school. So I put this on

Except your hair is curly.
Then I do my normal morning routine and go down stairs and pour me a bowl of cereal then dad comes in the kitchen followed by mom
Dad & mom: " morning mija."
Y/n: "morning momma morning papa."
Mom: "so sense today is the first day of school do u want us to take u or are u going to walk?"
I had to think about it for a minute because I want to walk because I enjoy walking but I also just don't feeling like walking today.
Y/n: "take me to school I don't feel like walking today."
Dad: "okay be ready in 5."
So I finish eating my cereal and go back up stairs and grab my bag then head back down stairs.
Y/n: "I'm ready!"
Mom: "okay go to the car we will be their in 2 minutes."
So i head to the car and realize that it's lock so I can't get in so I just stood their until they came out. I finally made it to school after what felt like forever in the car. So I walk in school and see Lauren and I run up to her and hug her because I missed her over the summer. We only hung out like 4 times.
Lauren: "hey I missed u we barely got to hang out this summer but that's okay because we can hang out all this year and over summer."
Y/n: "ya I know I'm sorry me and my dad were really busy over the summer. We really didn't have time to do much."
Lauren: "busy doing what... I wanna know fill me in."
I was hoping she wasn't going to ask that question because my dad was helping me train to become capo soon.
Y/n: "ummm..... well we were moving and then we went down and stayed with family in Cali and some other things."
Lauren: "ya sounds like a busy summer alright. Jk I know ur always busy but that's going to change so u can spend more time with ur best friend this year."
Y/n: "hey let's head to the office to get our schedules."
So we head to the office to get them and I walk in and I see this boy standing at the front desk and he is really tall and has black hair. Then he turns around and runs right into me.
Y/n: "hey watch where ur going."
And I look up at the boy and I see he is just staring at me.
Y/n: "boo do u need something!"
The boy: "no but u shouldn't talk to me like that."
Y/n: "or what"
The boy: "u don't know who I am do u."
Then he just looks at me smiles then walks away. And Lauren gives me that look u that u guys would look cute together.
Y/n: "no way don't even give me that look u gave me that look with every boy I talk to last year."
Lauren: "what no I don't. But anyway that's the new kid mattia it's his first year here at this school because he used to go to that school where all the bad kids go. And literally every girl is already tryna get with him. And people also say that he is in the polibio mafia and apparently that's his mafia and he is capo."
Y/n: "girl u can't just go around believing everything people are saying theirs no way he is in a mafia and their is no way he is capo."
So I just go up to the desk and I ask for mine and Lauren's schedules and I compare our schedules and we don't have any classes together.
Y/n: "damn we don't got any classes together. U know we haven't ever hand any classes together out of the 4 years we have been in high school together."
Lauren: "ya I know it's fucking stupid and they won't even let us change our classes omg I hate this school so much. But good thing it's our last year hear because guess what bitch were SENIORS!!"
Y/n: "I know I know I'm so happy bc when this year is over imma be so happy."
So then we go our separate ways and I walk to my first class of the day which is English. I walk in and I see that same boy that ran into me in the office. So I just sit 2 seats in front of him. Then the teacher comes in.
