Author's POV

Amelia groaned. She plopped down to the ground, looking at the chains linked to the metal ball. She had thought of an idea but she knew she was too weak for it.

Yet, she gave it a try. She tried pulling up the metal ball, but not even half way, she had already dropped it to the ground. It was too heavy for her. She groaned again.

"I'm so sick of this shit," She muttered. She knew the bruises around her ankle will worsen even more.

"Would you like to take it off for awhile?" A stranger asked, crouching beside her. She nodded eagerly.

The stranger smiled, taking out a key from his pocket and unlocked the chains. Of course, the tech like belt was still clung onto her ankle.

Amelia's eyes lit up a little, feeling more better. She stood up with a soft smile on her face, same as the stranger.

She turned to the stranger. "Thanks holy stranger. Guess I won't need to lift those metal shits around with my foot." She overexaggerated with the word 'foot'.

The stranger chuckled. Amelia then took a quick look of him. Something about his description seemed familiar to her.

He raised a brow playfully as he noticed the child staring at him, curiously. He smiled. "You must be new, let me show you around!" He exclaimed, softly as he closed his eyes with a welcoming smile.

Amelia was quite taken aback by his kindness. No one has acted that softly towards her. Nevertheless, she nodded.

As they walked around the place, Amelia was dozing in and out of her own world. She started replay her previous actions and other questions that pop up in her mind whole doing so.

For example, was she being too harsh on Eric who is just helping her? Was she too mean for these past few days, aka aggressive? Did she talked too much? Did someone thought she was annoying because of it? Was she getting even more emotional these past few days? Is her emotions holding her back too much? Was she avoiding her emotions too much? Was she becoming more and more like her old self? Was she avoiding sleep the days before meeting Yuugo and Eric because of Ca-

She shook her head softly, getting rid off of all the negativity that was starting to grow. "And right here is the break room, that's where-..." She was back into her thoughts again.

She kept staring down at the ground, deep in thought. The man noticed this and halted, trying to see if the girl was paying attention. He paced foward as she didn't stopped.

He tapped on her shoulder, breaking her through her thoughts. "Huh?" She mumbled out, looking at the man.

He smiled reassuringly. "Let's go to the medical room. I'm sort of a doctor here," He said.

The ocean haired girl was obviously confused but decided not to question it as if she trust the stranger. He hasn't done anything suspicious ever since they met after all. She followed behind him in silence.

----------

Amelia sat down on the medical bed, swaying her legs whilst staring at it. "Stay here while I get some medical supplies, is that alright with you?" The Doctor asked with a small smile plastered on his face.

She nodded quietly. "Great! I'll tell my assistant about your situation later on," He said beginning to walk away.

She raised her head in the last minute. "What.. is my situation..?" She asked, using her old soft voice that she hasn't used in a long time.
