I looked at myself in the mirror and was pretty satisfied with my appearance. I wore a grey turtleneck sweatshirt with a pair of black distressed shorts. It didn't look like the attire meant for a pool party, but it satisfied me. I was definitely gonna enjoy the weird stares that were going to come my way.

I took out my phone and read the message Yoona texted me with. It had the address of the party, and also a message that read,

"Be there, or be ready."

Like really, I don't care if you're going to beat me up just stop harassing my message box. I quickly read the message over again before I slipped my phone in my pockets. I climbed down the stairs only to be welcomed by my parents.

"Are you going somewhere?" Asked my mom.

I could sense her suspicion and thought for once I'll be the better kid and tell her the truth.

"Yeah mom, I'm going to a pool party. Is that okay with you?" I realized she didn't know about my plans.

"A pool party? Sweety you should've told me sooner, I saw this amazing swimsuit at the mall that I could've gotten you." She gave me a look of regret and pity.

"Mom, that's fine. I'm not planning on swimming anyways"

My mom blinked a couple of times before replying, "Then why are you deciding to go to a pool party?"

"I-uh-"

"Go upstairs and bring your old swimsuit with you."

"Mom, that's like from the 8th grade." I emphasized the last part, making sure to tell my mom it didn't fit.

"Look I'm running late, I gotta go. Bye mom." I said rushing out the door before she could tell me to do something else out of my will.

THE property that I ended up standing in front of was huge. Note - this is why I called it property. Like holy shit, they're rich, pretty and dumb. The whole 6 yards. Haha, they didn't have the brains which made it invalid for me to say they had all 9 yards. I reached over to ring the doorbell, but realized it was unnecessary.

The gate was already open, and there were already a few people crowding around the yard. Loud music was blasting in the background, and there stood the host herself in front of me.

"Oh, so you made it." She said to me with a meek smile.

I gave a blank look her way, and half-assed rolled my eyes.

"I don't think I really had a choice." Annoyance clearly written in my tone.

"Whatever, I don't have time for your shit. Just come in and do whatever the hell you want-"

"Yoona! We're out of booze." Someone interrupted her.

I walked into her house and followed her wherever she was going. I honestly don't even know how the heck I got invited to a party with the Fabulous Five. Without them trying something on me.

I followed her out the house to be greeted by the sight of half-naked people. The backyard pool had a beautiful aqua shimmer to its surface that could mesmerize me any day. Too bad it was ruined by a group of teenagers splashing water at one another and causing a ruckus. I walked passed a group of boys whose eyes seemed to be fixated on the opposite genders at the party. I mean their bikinis were so skimpy I bet even Britney Spears would refuse to wear them.

I was taking in my surroundings, when I forgot to take in what's in front of me. I crashed. Right onto Yoona's back. Well, more like bump, but that didn't stop the others from noticing and laughing at me. Why the heck did she have to stop walking all of a sudden? If she was slightly irritated, I couldn't notice, because she faked it well.

"Wait." She said, I detected a hint of impatience there.

I regained my composure and looked at her.

"Where are your clothes?"

"Are you blind? I'm wearing them." I said, feeling sassy.

She rolled her eyes and continued, "Not that but your swim suit?"

Okay now she was irritated.

A playful smirk formed at the corner of my lips. I looked straight into her eyes and replied, "I'm not swimming."

I thought she was going to throw a fit or something but she just shrugged her shoulders and turned back around. Wait, what? I thought the sound of rebellion was clearly heard in my statement.

Fuck, she doesn't care.

"Fine, with me." She said and walked ahead. She stopped near the refreshment table and pointed.

"There's food here, a hot boy over there, and if you're uninterested a chair right here." She smacked her hands on a chair near the table.

I was about to sit down but this spark in her eyes told me otherwise. I inspected the chair just to see if I was getting anything unwanted if I sat down. Nothing. She walked away and went to greet or more like flirt with one of the guests. And that left me alone.

I didn't want to look like a total loner so I moved my body away from the pool, and back into the house. There was a big beige sofa in one of the sitting rooms that I chose to place myself in. There really was nothing for me to do, but to take out my phone and go on every social media there is.

After staring at the screen without even a blink to spare I realized I just missed something big. Like big BIG. WTF, how could I not notice? How long has he been sitting there? Shit, what am I supposed to do? Oh, no this is gonna be very sad on my part. I slowly turned my head to face the person on my left and examine his features.

He stared into my eyes and gave a simple smile. "Hi."
