When I first fell,
I remembered the joy I had jumping inside of me,
The same feeling, the same beginngin,
The same road,
But another person,
I didn't think of it much,
I was ready to drown,
To give up soo much,
Until I saw the same warning signs,
I ignored it at first,
Giving myself a chance at it,
Until I realized nothing in it was about me,
I was just a bridge to the other side,
The feelings of being replaced started to sink in,
I became the sponge u created,
My heart was no longer in my chest,
But lying on the floor beneath your feet,
U asked me what I'd like,
But not what I wouldn't,
And then suddenly when I saw the sun rise up again,
I realized,
The same joy jumping inside me had died,
But when I closed my eyes,
I felt the tiny beats,
The music played again,
This was never about what I had thought about,
But it was about me,
About how I felt when I was with myself,
And i could breathe again,
And when u entered again with such force,
Choking me to take away the lasting breathe in me,
You turned to dust,
And I grew wings,
I'd know now that i wouldn't loose myself,
And if I ever did, it wouldn't be worth it, especially for you.
