Chapter 14- I DON'T LIKE CHOCOLATE FROGS

First Date. Harry's Date. 

I didn't know how I felt about this. It was clear I was biased on Draco's side. But I couldn't force feelings for Harry instead. I sighed. I left my common room. I was wearing a white sweater and a mini skirt, with leggings. I didn't want to look to dressed up.

"Hey." I heard Draco's voice call out to me.

"Hi!" I said.

"So, dressed up for Potter huh? You better dress up for me too!" He said, playful nudging me.

He didn't know I had already planned out my perfect outfit for OUR first actual date. 

"Yeah of course Draco!" 

"So bye, enjoy your date, but don't enjoy too much!" He winked at me and left.

I walked to the great hall, where I found Harry. He accidentally spit out some pumpkin juice when he saw me, and smiled awkwardly.

I walked over to him.

"Hi?" I asked, more in a questioning tone.

"Hi! I'm so excited! So let's get this show on the road!" He said, eagerly.

We walked all the way to Madame Puddifoots. I think Harry assumed I liked this place, because of all the girlish pink decorations, but honestly I can't stand it. I cut across a point for Harry mentally.

"Ok! So what would you like! Pick out anything you wish!" He said, happily.

"Hmm I'd like maybe a frappé!" 

"Sure thing."

We sat their talking while our beverages and snacks came. We talked about the battle and all that happened. What The Fallen Fifty meant to us. At one point, I almost started crying because he told me that Snape was actually in love with his mother but she died. After that we went to Honeydukes.

"I really like the chocolate frogs especially the cards, would you like me to buy you some as well?" Harry said.

"I'd love some!" I said, trying to sound enthusiastic. Truth was I prefer Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans to the Frogs.

After we binged on some sweets, we went to Zonko's. This was the part where Harry went right, I actually really like jokes and tricks and stuff like that. Harry bought me a few of their objects and then we took a walk around the school.

"It's really funny, how I use to fancy you all the way from 1st year to 7th year, and I never told you how I felt. But now I finally confessed, that too in front of Draco friggin Malfoy." Harry said.

"Yeah! That's actually pretty awesome, you had the guts to say it in front of your arch nemesis."

"I've never actually had a normal year in Hogwarts. Only this repeat of a year."

"True true, but I can't imagine Harry Potter normal. You are where the action is."

"Yeah. In my 5th year, when we went to the ministry, me, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Ginny, and Luna. Hermione, told me that I have a bit of a Saving People thing."

"She's sorta right I guess."

"She was right, that time, Voldemort was only planting an image in my head, but of course heroic me had to save the day."

"I'm sure that's what anyone would have done. I myself don't have any family. In fact, if it wasn't for Draco, I'd be dead myself. He saved me from Fenrir Greyback."

"That's really heroic, but really Sav, I'd be careful around him, he's a bit of a bully."

"He's not that bad, you really hurt his ego that day, you refused his handshake."

"You still remember that?" 

"Of course. He's shown me a side of him, the loving and caring side, that will do anything to protect you."

"He's really something."

And with that we went our separate ways. I took out my phone and was ready to rate the date.

Draco: so how'd it go?

You: I rate Harry's date, a 7. I really like'd it but you went wrong a few times, including the time when we were talking all the sentimental hogwash when I nearly burst into tears. But I enjoyed myself.

Harry: aww sorry but glad u had fun

Draco: u made her cry Potter!!!!!!!!!!!

You: well nearly

Draco: but u were sad ☹️ 

Harry: let's see u do better then

Draco: oh i will, I don't intend on sleeping tonight.

You: pls sleep Draco, I'm sure I'll enjoy ur date

Draco: dw abt me, good night

You: night

Harry: uh..night 

Draco: I was saying night to my girl porter

Harry:she's not urs 

Draco: whatever 

You: trying to sleep u guys

Draco: oh yes sweetheart sweet dreams
