Draco Malfoy did not like dementors.

After all that he had been through, they only reminded him of all him.

He shuddered and entered the room, where his mother was.

"Mother." He said, simply.

His mother was sobbing, he wrapped his arms around her.

"Oh Draco, he was..s-so sorry for what he did t-t to you," Narcissa said, "please don't be hard on him."

"Sorry? Sorry? Oh yeah, I accept his apology, ONLY THAT ITS TOO LATE NOW! I'm not going to get back that childhood, all of his blood prejudice and everything made me miss out making so many friends! Actual friends! And you remember that Granger, that innocent girl, who Bellatrix carved the word Mudblood into? Oh yeah, she only helped defeat Voldemort. And my girlfriend, she may be half-blood, but she's the most amazing, beautiful person I know!"

"Mr.Malfoy? You can meet him if you'd like." A ministry worker called out to Draco.

Draco strutted to the room, already thinking of what he was going to say to the piece of filth whom he calls a father.

"Draco." Lucius said.

"You deserve it," Draco said, "how ironic isn't it? All those times you said, the muggle-borns deserve the Dementor's kiss, and now your facing the same fate? Tell me father, do they really deserve it?"

"O-of course n-not."

"Oh cut the crap, you will always be the same prejudiced, arrogant man, who completely demolished his son's childhood! And oh, guess what my girlfriend's half-blood."

"Half-blood?"

"Half-blood. And she cares for me more than you ever did!"

"Mr.Malfoy, it's time." The ministry worker said, with a sad smile.

"Yes," he turned to his father, "goodbye father."

And he strode out, to go comfort his mother.

"Has it happened?" His mother, who was no longer sobbing said.

"Yes, mother."

"He wasn't the same Lucius I knew from school."

"I understand mother. People change, but it's not always for the good."

"I know, look at you Draco. You've changed, and it's for the better," Narcissa said.

"Will you be alright?" Draco asked.

"Me? Of course," Narcissa said, holding Draco's hand and walking out of the ministry, "come with me to hogsmeade?"

"I'd like that."

They apparated to Hogsmeade, and walked towards the 3 broomsticks.

"2 butter beers please." Draco ordered.

"Please? Oh you really have changed." Narcissa said, smiling.

"I suppose." He said, just when his phone clincked, signifying a notification.

"Hmm, is that Miss Savana?"

"Yup," Draco said, " she was really worried about me."

"Go on. Answer her."

Savana ♥️ (Private chat)

Savana: Hey Dray, is everything alright, did you meet him?

You: Yes love I did. I'm at hogsmeade, with mother right now.

Savana: Ok, be back soon, Theo is driving me and Kat crazy!

You: lol okay, bye sweetheart  ♥️❤️

Savana: bye ❤️❤️

"She seems like a sweet girl." Narcissa commented.

"She is. She can be quite feisty too, you know." Draco said, a smile on his face.

"Wait-is this the same Savana you were fuming about in the 3rd year, when she punched you?"

"Um yes."

"I like her," Narcissa said, a twinkle in her eyes, "not afraid of you at all."

"Trust me, she would've beaten me up, if I hadn't run outta there."

"And I remember Lucius was threatening to sue her for breaking your nose, but you stopped him just in time."

Draco blushed.

"I just thought, it wouldn't be a good way to get on her good side."

"Because you fancied her." Narcissa said, with a cheeky grin.

"I mean I suppose I did." Draco said, blushing furiously.

"So when do I get to meet this lucky women?"

"I could bring her around weekend if you'd like, but I want her to be comfortable with it."

"Of course, you ask her first, and then give me a text."

"Yes mother."

And there they sat happily, because the past was behind them and the future held only happiness.

The end is near, my friends.
