Esther and Mikeals son Henrik was killed during a fullmoon by a werewolf. As Esther and Mikeal found out they decided to make the family the most powerful family in the world. Soon after they did they regretted the decision as it made their children into monsters.
Kluas killed Esther for what he did to them and for having an affair as Kluas isn't Mikeals son he is a son of a wolf the wolf who killed Henrik. Mikeal spent 1000 years trying to kill the Mikaelson siblings but never succeed but he came close. Esther and Mikeal have returned from the dead more then once.
The mikealson family have been on the run for over 1000 years,but for now their free from the parents who created them.
