Language and gore warning (?)

Yuna POV

Mr. Afton was laying in a pool of his own blood.

The urge to vomit was overwhelming, but I managed to keep it down. Making eye contact with Yunho, he lunged towards me. I stood frozen in place, my legs unwilling to carry me to safety as his soulless eyes pierced mine, but before he could reach me, Alex attempted to get between him and me. They were violently thrown to the side.

Moments later, Alex had started to twitch and convulse on the floor, I could see the violent movements from my peripheral vision as I dared not look away from Yunho whose black eyes still hadn't broken contact with mine.

Yunho went to take a step closer to me, before jerking to a stop. He blinked a few times, wide and frightful eyes scanning the room and all of the people who occupied it.

"... Mingi?" His voice was weak, slow, and nearly cracked at the end, as he stared at the red-haired mage.

I took the movement to glance at Alex, whose body lay still and face down.

Namjoon, Jongho and Mingi rushed to Yunho. Felix and I ran to Alex. Everyone was speaking at the same time, words of comfort and confusion spiralled around the room, making it hard to think.

"Alex!" I shrieked, shaking their motionless body.

"Why did they pass out?" Felix questioned all of the mages in the room, his voice was low, raspy and drawn out. "You're the ones who deal with magic every day; what the fuck happened to Alex?"

I knew Felix had a deep voice and could sound borderline demonic when he wanted to, but I have never heard him use that tone in a serious matter. The three mages had stayed completely silent, shocked at Felix

My hand moved down to Alex's wrist, hoping to feel a heartbeat. Their body was ice cold with the faintest heartbeat being the only indication of them being alive. A faint orange glow from beneath their shift caught my attention, and while everyone was distracted—still arguing with a very pissed off Felix, who was now yelling at them for getting Alex and the rest of us involved with magic—I reached under their shirt and found a neckless with a crystal.

The small crystal was wrapped in a thin gold wire that looped around it, held it in place. It reminded me of the crystals and gems from The Ice Cherry; did she get it from the girls? Soon after discovering the crystal, the orange glow had faded away.

"Please wake up..." I knew it was futile, but the words spilled out anyways.

Suddenly a stranger barged through the door and into the room. Judging on Jongho, Mingi and Yunho's reaction to the stranger—and the stranger's reaction to them as well—they most likely all knew each other.

"Yeosang?" Yunho stuttered out.

Yeosang? He was the mage Alex had met in Angelbrook.

"Wha—Never mind that's not important right now. Where's Alex?" Yeosang dismissed his friend's surprise to see him, instead, focusing on Alex. Once he spotted us, with me crouching on the ground beside them, his face paled. He ran over to us, freaking out, "What happened to them!"

"That's what I'd like to know!" Felix bitterly spat.

"No, no, no, no..." Yeosang repeated over and over again, he lifted open one of Alex's eyelids. It was the same soulless look that Yunho just had.

Alex never told him about the entity, but there's no way that he won't know about it now.

Yeosang let go of Alex's eyelid, turning his attention to Felix and I. He had just opened his mouth to say something before Alex's eyes twitched.
