Doflamingo's Pov

"Damn bitch!" Looking over at a certain red kitten I could see another little kid had tried to pick him up. "Ahhh! Mommy, Mommy, Mommy! That kitten scratched me!" As the brat ran back to the safety of her mother, I couldn't help but laugh to myself about the situation. "Fufufu. What's the matter Kiddo don't you want to get out of this shelter?"

"Shut up Doflamingo! There's no way in hell I'm going home with some little brat!" When the kitten won't stop hissing at the people sitting nearby, they told the hint and left the area. We were the only kittens back here but Kidd continued to scare away any potential adopters. "Fair enough but I'd rather not stay here another day. If things continue to go this way for us, I think we should go our separate ways"

"I hate to agree with Doflamingo though he does make a good point about our current situation. Not many people will want to adopt five kittens, if things do not improve by tomorrow, we should come up with another plan" As I thought about what Mihawk had said I figured we'd probably have better chances of getting adopted in pairs. "So, it's decided we'll give it another day. Oh, and Kiddo try not to scare away all of the children. Fufufu"

At the Girl's House...

Snow's Pov

"Come onnnnn! Can't you slowpokes hurry up? All the cute kittens are going to be gone before we get there!" I was thrilled to finally be able to get a pet but my family was taking their sweet time getting out of the house. "How does this girl have so much energy?" Ash was whispering to the others about me though I chose to ignore it as I waited by the car. "I'm sure there will be plenty of kittens left Snow so calm down"

Once Ember and Ash had made their way over to the car, we were only waiting on Jess who looked like she wanted to murder the front door. As Ember unlocked the doors, I quickly started heading to the seat I wanted. "I get to sit in the passenger seat unless of course, someone wants to fight me for it!" No one fought with me about it but Ash did whisper something under her breath about how she won't have to be near me.

"Jess, come on everybody's waiting for you!" Ember called out to our sister who was still struggling with turning the key to lock the door though when she turned around, I could clearly see she was pissed out. "The fucking locks sticking again! We really should get a new one while we're out in town today" After a few more minutes of fighting with the door Jess ripped the key out before she held her hand to the metal lock.

There was a soft blue light emitting from her hand but soon enough a loud 'click' was heard before she stepped away with a smile on her face. "It's fucking locked!" As we all climbed into our seats Jess was left to take the other window seat Ash didn't take. "Okay, is everybody ready to go?" Once Ember made sure no one forgot everything she started the car and pulled it into drive.

"Perfect~ Since there's a hardware store down the street from the animal shelter we can also grab a new lock there. You know the model we need, right Jess?" When the girl replied she did I turned on the music and started looking out the window as we drove to the nearby city.

30 Minutes Later...

We weren't too far away from the city but it still took a little time since Ember was a slow driver and never did anything in a hurry. "Shit!" I could see the animal shelter ahead but my sister started to freak out about something. "What's the matter, Sis?" When she responded to my question, I knew immediately what the problem was. "I forgot that this street only has parallel parking"
