Maria's birthday party was 1 day away, but this time she would invite Clayton too.
"H-hello." Said Maria nervously. "Hey?" Said Clayton looking at his phone and smiling. Maria gave him the invitation. "Please come, i-it's tomorrow." She said while happily hoping he would show up there.
"What the hell is this?" Said Mia snatching the invitation. "An invite? Why do you even care?" Clayton said snatching it back and walking away. She scoffed and everyone had seen what just happened. "What are you laughing at dorks!?" She said while stomping away embarrassed.
"Now that's funny." Said Lillith laughing while walking to her next classes. Just then on the intercom, they announced that the history teacher was found dead in the closet. Maria smiled after hearing what she heard, but someone saw her.
She had 2 classes where she sits next to Clayton, but they got moved on the second day because the teacher thought they would "work better" without any distractions, because they were by the school bully Antwon Cuba.
"Aren't you ecxited for your birthday?!" Said Lillith jumping up and down, "I'm nervous. Maybe Clayton will be there!" Said Maria sweating.

"I'll see you later at you partyyyyy!" Said Lillith teasing her.
Makeup. Dresses. Nailpolish. It was the party she dreamed of, considering she was a very wealthy girl. "Slayyy!" Said Lillith putting more lipstick on her. "Whatever I always looked like this." Said Maria checking her phone numerous times. "Oh, I see." Said Lillith smirking as she walked out the room. She was stressing, if Clayton really showed up then what would she do?
Thirty minutes later
"Go get em' girl." Said Lillith pushing her to the crowd of people. Shes never been this shy before.
The next thing you know 10 minutes turn to 20 and so on a so fourth. Clayton had never showed up, but she kind of expected this. "Don't worry, he might come n-next year?" Said Lillith attempting to cheer her up. "No it's fine. This was kinda expected, he's the most popular boy in school after all "sorry i was busy" was all he had said in the text message.
It was the next day and nothing was different then before. But just then everyone was looking at maria like she had just killed someone. Again. "What?" Said Maria staring back. "Oh, shit! Look Maria!" Said Lillith showing her the phone. "What the fuck dude?!" Said Maria. "How did it come to this? I'm not dating Antwon." Said Maria angrily. "Then why was he at your house?" Said A person I the back of the crowd. "Why does he look so angry?" Said some girl. Who?" Said Maria.
"Clayton.." Said the girl.
