"DAD?!" Said Maria tugging on her fathers shirt. "Are you yelling at me?" He said distinctly looking at Maria in a blinding, scary manner. "No father. I-i'm sorry." She said scarcely looking at the shed in her backyard.

"Is everything alright?" Said Clayton's mother stepping up to Maria and her father, yet she couldn't help but notice that Maria's father looked somewhat familiar.

"You look familiar, like I have seen you somewhere." Said Clayton's mom questionably. Maria's throat had gone dry. "Oh, we are the Walkers family, we own a business, so maybe you have seen us around on tv or elsewhere." Said Maria's dad.

"Oh! Now I know it's such a pleasure to meet you!" Clayton's mother said shaking his hand. "You too." Said Maria's father.

"Well we haven't had dinner yet, would you like to join us?" Said Maria's Dad showing them the way to the dining room. "That would be lovely, thank you, Mr. Walker."

She said as she sat down. "Maria go get them some water." Said Maria's mother as she sat down next to her father.

"Yes, mother." She said getting up to get the glasses. Just then they heard glass shatter on the kitchen floor. "Oh no, is everything okay?" Said Maria's Mom going to see what happened.

"No need sweetheart, I will check." Said Maria's dad with an angry expression.

Maria came back with a pale face and a scared look on her face. Clayton whispered, "Are you okay?" To Maria but she didn't respond. After everyone finished eating, Maria was asked to stay in the dining room.

Everyone left and they heard the backdoor slam shut. Clayton was confused but went to the guestroom that maria's mom showed them.

"No! Dad please I won't do it again! I SWEAR!" She screamed. But her dad didn't care. He slammed the shed door shut and locked it.

Clayton had heard the scream and went to go check what was happening. He looked out the window and saw Maria's mom trying to open the shed door.

An hour and a half had passed and he only saw Maria's parents go inside. The next day Clayton asked where Maria was and they told him she was sleeping.

They weren't lying though. She was sleeping, just somewhere else. Clayton exclaimed that he needed to go to school, but he didn't have any clothes to change into.

Maria's mom told him that sometimes Maria's cousin stays over, and he is one year above her. So obviously Clayton had to wear clothes that he never would have even thought about wearing.

After he got changed he saw that maria was already dressed for school, she still looked scared, though.

Maria's dad drove her to school every day, and that was partly why people thought she was so weird. But since Clayton was here, and he knew how to drive, they allowed them to drive to school.

"Have a good day," Said their parents, but little did they know, they had a hell of a day in front of them.
