Playing the game

I don't want to, but it's the only choice I really have. I'm sure I'm not fast enough to outrun him anyways.

"Fine, I'll play. What game is it?" He chuckles. Delighted, he explained the game, "Simple and easy, it's a finding things game. You see, I recently lost something a friend gave to me. A ring in shape of a gold spider covering a red jewel. Find it, and I'll let you live."

"Where did you lose it?" This should be simple, it's just a lost ring right?

"Last time I saw it....hmm...I don't remember!" He smiled gleefully, "So I guess you'll have to search the entire Devildom, while I attend to...other matters," he stares behind me, smiling wickedly down at the dead human corpse.

"You will be given 48 hours to find it. Should be easy enough, correct?"

"Wait, what? No! I don't know how large this place is! And you didn't even specify where you lost it! I don't have the slightest clue of where-!"

There's no point, he's not even listening. Great. I'm in Hell, I have no idea how strong these guys are, and I have no clue of where I'm going. I only have 48 hours to explore this place and find some stupid ring and finish this rigged and unfair game.

And he didn't even bother giving me his name.

"Can you at least give me your name?" I ask.

"Diavolo, Lucifer's right hand man," I nod.

Well, guess I'd better start looking then. Ahead of me is a huge forest, behind me are the bloody bushes of dead bodies and more dying flowers.

Where should I go?
