The next day, I sat on the hood of Bella's truck in the parking lot of Forks High. She had told me about her plan to confront Edward about his actions towards her from the day before during breakfast this morning.
So far he hadn't shown up at school and Bella was growing more and more agitated. She was pretending to read her school notes and leaning against the front of the truck and didn't want to be alone so she asked me to wait with her.
Soon the Cullens pulled into the school parking lot. The two boys were in their Jeep while Rose and Alice rode in their bright red convertible Mercedes. They got out and both Jasper and Emmett almost immediately threw their arms over their girlfriends shoulders.
I smiled brightly at them as they passed in front of us and I earned waves from them in return, the girls even more enthusiastic than the boys. I broke eye contact with them as they went inside and I looked to Bella who was still looking around for Edward. I sighed. If he wasn't there with his siblings than he probably wasn't going to come.
I jumped off of the hood and patted Bella's shoulder sympathetically. "He's probably just sick, you can confront him another day." She nodded her head, although a bit hesitantly, and followed me to the school.

Over the course of the next few days, Edward was nowhere to be seen meaning Bella had still yet to talk to him. I sincerely wished he would come back because her blabbing about him wasn't the best to listen to every night after school.
During Edward's absence, I became closer to the other Cullen siblings, especially Alice, and we spent a lot of time together at school. Jasper and I haven't spent a single day without ignoring everything being said by our history teacher, nor have Alice and I not spent every minute together talking about fashion. They had invited me over that weekend to hang out and thankfully, Charlie had allowed me to go.
When Saturday came, I woke up later in the afternoon as Rose would pick me up closer to nighttime. I stood in front of my closet in my underwear and looked at the clothing inside. I wondered what was most appropriate to wear but I was still struggling. I let out an exasperated breath.
Finally, I found the right outfit. I pulled out the clothes and placed them on my bed. My choice consisted a thick gray sweater paired with a pair of plaid pants and my black and white Jordan's. I quickly put on my clothes and slipped on my jewelry. I left my bedroom and I made my way into the bathroom to do my daily makeup and hairstyle.
A car honked from outside and I hastily finished in the bathroom and grabbed my black purse. "Bella, I'm leaving now!" I yelled. I heard a faint 'bye' from upstairs before I closed the door, locking it with my key.
I walked away from the house and got into the awaiting red convertible. Opening the door, I hopped into the passenger seat and was immediately greeted by the beautiful blonde. "Hey Stella!" She said happily. I smiled back and replied. "Hi Rose!"
We drove away from the house and into town. We talked throughout the whole drive. A short while later, we arrived at a beautifully modern house that appeared more like a mansion than a normal house. My mouth gapped open as I stared at the elegantly crafted masterpiece.
I closed my mouth and jumped out of the car. I stood beside my door as I took in the building. "It's amazing." Rose laughed. "I know, right?" I giggled with her and shut my door. She came to my side and pulled me behind her as we went up to the front door.
