The next day, I woke up to my alarm that I had set the previous night. I forgot how annoying it is. I turned on my side and yelped when my body made contact with the hard wood floor. I groaned as I laid there, too lazy to get up.

My bedroom door swung open and I tilted my head up to see Bella in her pyjamas with her hair in a messy mane. She locked eyes with me and I gave her a wave and she, in return, gave me a questioning look. "Why are you on the floor?"

"I fell." I replied simply, lifting my hand. "Can you help me?" I asked her. Her eyes bore into mine and gave me a look of 'Are you serious?'. I gave her a pouty face and stared back at her. She rolled her eyes and took my hand, bringing me off of the floor.

I dusted myself off and gave her a smile despite her still annoyed look. I hugged her and soon she wrapped her arms around me as well, laughing at my antics. "Thanks, Bells." I told her.

She pulled away from the hug and gave me a smile, rolling her eyes. "You're welcome Stella, is it okay if I use the bathroom first?" She asked me.

I nodded my head and she left my room. I walked to my dresser and picked out my outfit for the day. I chose a pretty blue sweater with a pair of black skinny jeans and a thin black belt that had a gold buckle. I finished the look off with my favorite Shoes, a pair of blue, white & black Jordan's that I was given for my birthday.

I went to my side table where I kept my jewelry and slipped on my pinkie ring that had a thin chain which started from my finger and ended on a small bracelet on my wrist. Next, I reached into my drawer and took out the earrings I wore everyday, they were a small simplistic hoop in my upper piercing and a thin chain with a rose gold rectangle hanging off of them in my lower piercing. Finally, I put on three simple necklaces with the third one going down with a few diamonds on the end.

I made my way out of my bedroom and went into the bathroom, the door was opened and Bella was no where on sight. She must have gone downstairs.

I did part of my hair in a braid and then pulled in into a ponytail with the rest of my hair. I then applied my usual makeup consisting of black eyeliner that went in a small wing and bit of peach glitter eyeshadow. I didn't wear any lipstick or blush but I did wear nail polish, I had applied it last night. It was a simple white and black that switched colours every second nail.

When I had finished in the bathroom, I went downstairs and found Bella eating cereal at the kitchen table. "Where's Charlie?" I wondered aloud. She looked up from her bowl and looked at me. "He already went to work, he says good morning."

I nodded my head with a smile and made my way to get my own breakfast. I made myself a bowl of oatmeal and berries which was joined by my daily cup of Chamomile tea.

When we had finished eating our food, we got our jackets, mine was black, and our bags, and headed out the door. I locked the door behind me and waved goodbye to Bella as I went into my Jeep.

The ride to the school was smooth and not very long and I had a hard time paying attention to the road as I kept glancing around at my surroundings. It was very beautiful here.

I arrived at the high school and wasn't surprised to see that it was an old and most definitely dated brick building. I pulled into an empty space and turned off my car. I took a deep breath and gripped the steering wheel before exhaling slowly. It's going to be fine, it's just a new school with new people, not the end of the world.

I sighed and grabbed my bag from the passenger seat. I opened the door and left out of the car, swinging my bag on my shoulder in the process.

When I got out, I looked around at my surroundings. The people around me had already taken notice that I wasn't one of the students seen here everyday. I kept a firm look on my face and stared directly at them and slammed the door, making them look away from me.

Loud noises coming from the entrance to the parking lot caught my attention and everyone else's. I turned towards the source of the noises and discovered that it was the rusty old red truck that had been given to Bella not 24 hours previous. The truck rolled into a parking space a little ways away from where I had parked and the noises stopped abruptly as my cousin cut the engine.

I walked away from my own car and approached Bella as she got out of hers. I tapped her shoulder after she had closed her door and she turned her body to me, a startled look on her face that quickly disappeared when I gave her a reassuring smile.

"Hey Bells, we better head inside so we can get our schedules." I told her, smiling brightly. She gave me a half smile and I put my arm around her shoulder as I pulled her with me towards the school.

We entered the school, other students all around us as they went to their appropriate classes. I noticed that their was a golden haired boy who looked like he was in pain with a bubbly looking girl with a brown pixie cut walking beside him, his arm around her waist, both of them quite pale, almost as pale as me. They were quite beautiful if I was being honest.

Something inside me twisted as I suddenly felt concerned for the boy, he looked like he was in a large amount of pain. I was about to go and ask him if he needed help but my elbow was tugged by Bella before I could go to him.

"Come on Stella, you can worry about strangers later." She told me. I hesitated but nodded my head anyway and she let go of my arm.

We walked through the semi crowded halls until we reached the office. A few minutes later we walked out with our schedules in hand and I had since taken my jacket off and it was slung on my opposite arm.

I stared at my schedule as I walked down the hall with Bella by my side, her actions similar to mine. We don't have any classes together besides gym so I'll be alone most of the day. I was brought out of my thoughts my an Asian boy who joined Bella and I.

"You're Isabella Swan And Stellamaris Black Swan, the New girls." He said excitedly. "I'm Eric, the eyes and ears of this place. Anything you need, tour guide, lunch date, shoulder to cry."

I looked at Bella who was visibly getting more and more uncomfortable. She'd never been one for socializing. "We're really more the suffer in silence type and if we did have any problems I'm sure we could figure them out without you."

"Good headline for your feature." He continued, obviously not taking the hint. "I'm on the paper and you two are news baby, front page"

I panicked, sure I was more of an extrovert than Bella but I sure as hell didn't want to be on the front page of a newspaper. This time it was my cousin who replied to the boy. "No we're not, please don't."

"Whoa Chillax, no feature." He responded, putting his hands up slightly in defeat.

I let out the breath I had unintentionally held in and relaxed. I grasped Bella's arm once more and pulled her with me away from Eric so we could get to our gym class.
