When Team 7, Hinata, and Temari arrived in Suna they were informed that Kankuro was in the hospital. So the group hurriedly made their way to where Kankuro was being treated. When said group got there the Medics explained Kankuro's situation to Sakura and Hinata.

After being informed of his current situation Hinata and Sakura quickly began working on him. Because Sakura was the only one out of the two who had a water affinity she was the one to take charge. First, she told the Medics to hold him down, then started taking the toxins out of his body using her water affinity. When she had finished the medics and Temari thanked her profusely.

They showed Naruto and Kakashi their shared room. Then showed Sakura and Hinata their shared room. When the girls were in their shared room Sakura said she was going to sleep early to replenish her chakra and be more energized for tomorrow. Hinata on the other hand was having trouble sleeping. It had been hours since Sakura went to sleep, but her mind kept worrying about The Kazekage and the Akatsuki.

Hinata shook away her thoughts and sat up. 'Maybe a walk would make me feel better?' She smiled at the thought. Hinata would often go on walks whenever feeling overwhelmed or stressed. She sat up and got out of bed. She tip-toed to the door, put her sandals on, and turned the handle to open the door. The Hyuga looked back to make sure she didn't wake Sakura. Her face was relaxed and her body was limp. Hinata turned back around slipped through the door and gently closed it.

She sighed. "Maa, maa what are you doing up this late?" Hinata jerked and turned around to see Kakashi standing there with his nose in a book. She let out a breath of relief and relaxed. He raised an eyebrow towards her but didn't say anything. "I couldn't sleep."

_______________

He knew she was worried about something. It could've been that she was just being paranoid, but he didn't think so. She was tense and nervous. It might have been because it was involving the Akatsuki. He believed that was part of the reason, but not the whole reason.

He wasn't Kakashi Hatake for nothing. He noticed how nervous she got when they brought up Akatsuki. There was dread on her face. She was hesitant, on the way here she kept looking around. It was like she was looking for something or someone. She's hiding something from them.

Kakashi doubted she was a traitor, there are too many reasons that say otherwise. The biggest being she has too much to lose. She was the heiress to the most influential clan in Konoha. He couldn't picture her betraying them. At the same time, he never thought that Itachi would betray his clan. And we all know how that ended. Kakashi couldn't fully rule the possibility out. Being cautious and paranoid is what made him a great shinobi.

Kakashi sat up. 'She's about to leave her room.' He decided he was going to ask her about it. So he got out of bed, put on his sandals, and left his room. He saw her quietly closing the door. "Maa, maa what are you doing up this late." She jerked and turned towards him. When she realized it was him she let out a breath of relief and relaxed. He raised an eyebrow at her but decided not to say anything. "I couldn't sleep," she said.

It was silent for a moment. Then he sighed and said, "Well where would you like to go?" She blinked with surprise and said "Somewhere calming..." There was another moment of awkward silence then he said "Well lead the way." She nodded, but with hesitance.

They walked side by side and didn't say anything. Mostly because he had his book out and she didn't want to bother him while he was reading. Besides she was too focused on her thoughts. If she paid closer attention she would've noticed that every couple of seconds his eyes would shift towards her.

They continued walking. After a while, he noticed she wasn't paying much attention to where they were. 'Well, it's not surprising considering she's been stuck in her thoughts ever since we started walking.' He shifted his eyes back towards her. ' She's probably thinking about what's been bothering her judging by the look on her face.'
