daniel looked up from his spot on eleanor bed, a look of confusion on his face.

"what do you mean?"

"i mean she's been like ... harassing me the past couple weeks. what's her deal?" eleanor crossed her arms, a serious look crossing her face

he shrugged, "i didn't know. i'm sorry, babe. what's she been saying?"

"all things relating to how i don't deserve you. did you and her used to have a thing or something?"

he sat in silence , not exactly knowing how to answer her question. truth was ; yes, him and renee did have a little thing- but it wasn't anything serious and all they really did was sleep together... but that wasn't something he wanted to tell eleanor, not when he was just starting to win her back.

she snapped her fingers in front of his face, regaining his attention, "hello? anyone home?"

eleanor scanned his face, trying to detect a lie. she sighed and nodded, "thank you, i would appreciate that"

he reached out, grabbing her by the waist and pulling her in to his arms, "now enough talking about her, what do you say we go get dinner?"

"sounds good" she smiled, nodded up at him, "but you're paying"
