Hrngg, come on I can do it!
Standing on her toes and stretching her arm as much as her body would allow her to, a girl was trying to reach a bag of chips that, unfortunately, appeared to be completely out of her reach as it gloriously sat on the top shelf of the aisle.
Someone's gonna notice, hurry!
The short girl even started jumping, hoping by some sudden miracle that it would help, but due to how small she was, it didn't help at all. From an aisle across, someone was watching this girl jump and chuckled a bit, thinking of a bunny when this certain someone saw the girl hopping to get the bag of chips. This unknown person decided to approach the jumping girl, and when they were right next to each other, this person easily grabbed the bag of chips and handed it to the shorter individual.
Y/N: "Here you go."
I knew this would happen!
Not having the ability to properly thank this person, the girl just bows and quickly leaves. It left you wondering as to who she was, but you were glad that you were able to help, and was also glad that she didn't say anything, because you weren't ready to talk to some girl you didn't know. Having three girl friends was enough, and there wasn't enough practice or energy to befriend this 'bunny' one, so you turned around and started walking away.
On the other side of the aisle, the girl stopped walking, then clenched her fists and huffed. She wasn't going to let you go that easily without thanking you, so she turned around and slowly approached you. When she was right behind you, she poked your back.
Y/N: "Yeah?"
When you noticed the girl had come back, you smiled and, at the same time, feared the worst was about to come.
Y/N: "It's you. Hi."
You awkwardly wave, and so the girl just looked away, her face red from having a person right in front of her when she wasn't planning on talking to anyone today, aside from her dog Suzuri. The shopping trip solely for snacks was supposed to be quick so a situation like this one would not occur, but now that it did, she had to be the one to end it.
"T-Thanks..."
Y/N: "Sure, uhh, you're welcome. What's your name?"
"...mi."
Y/N: "Mi? That's a weird name..."
Even if you had whispered those last few words, this shy girl named 'Mi' still managed to hear and when she finally understood what was going on, she just ran away out of embarrassment.
She was too quiet so you didn't get to hear her whole name.
Y/N: "Of course, I ruined it..."
You sighed before you decided to go back home, already holding all of the groceries you came to buy just chilling in your plastic bag. 'Mi' kept watching you from a distance, and continued to do so until you left the store, and that was when she sighed and started walking towards the cash register to pay for the things she grabbed, except...
Now she had to talk to someone else, no, make eye contact with someone even more terrifying, the cashier!
