Chapter 4

Carli's pov*
"You got to be fucking kidding me" I yelled once I noticed that my hair was green.
"Carli it's to early for you to be yelling so please shut the fuck up and let me sleep" said Amy.
"My hair is fucking green Amy green who the fuck was in our hotel room" I asked as I walked out of the bathroom.
"Also it's in the afternoon not early at all" I said.
"Holy shit why did you dye your hair green" laughed Amy which pissed me off.
"I wouldn't dye my hair and even if I did why the hell would I dye it green now I'll be right back I'm going to find out who did this and make sure they won't see the light of day" I said as I grabbed a beanie.
"You do realize you'll be kicked off the team if you cause another player serious harm" said Amy.
"Well I'm sure it will be worth it and it's also not like I'm already not playing as much as I used too with press and alex" I said.
"Well maybe you should step it up a little Carli we all know alex has been hurt for a decent amount of camps and practices and we haven't noticed because she's been practicing and playing really well and that's all we've been focusing on" explained Amy.
"I'm tired of being told that Alex and Christen are better than me they can't make a goal from half across the field I'm known for hat tricks" I said.
"Yeah but then you got cocky and now you can't even make a single goal and they don't need to make those kind of goals they score great goals where it matters yours was pure luck" said Amy.
"Whatever I'm going to go find Emily and Kelley I know those two idiots had something to do with this and I'm definitely going to find out if they did or not" I said as I left the room with the beanie on that way nobody will notice that my hair is fucking green.
Ali's pov*
"Babe" I whispered as I poked Ashlyn's forehead to wake her up.
"Why are you waking me up babe" groaned Ashlyn as she tried to smack me with a pillow.
"I wanted attention" I answered like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"But I don't want to give you attention right now I want to sleep we had a big lunch" said Ashlyn as she rolled over but I was not going to lose this conversation so I decided to crawl on top of her and repeatedly poke her cheek.
"Babe please wake up I might seriously start crying if you don't wake up now"I begged Ashlyn hoping she'd wake up.
"Okay I'm awake babe what seems to be the problem" asked Ashlyn.
"Nothings the problem we've both been really busy this camp and I honestly kinda miss you" I said as I laid down next to her.
"This camp has been a lot more crazy than the other ones" said Ashlyn as she pulled me closer to her.
"Yes it has with Carli being completely stupid and Alex and preath" I explained.
"Well Carli just needs a reality check and Alex is going through something that I wish she wasn't going through but we just need to be there for alex and help her get out before it takes her life and as for preath Tobin said they've been having issues before they got here they love each other but Tobin thinks Christen likes Hope" explained Ashlyn.
"I will gladly give Carli a reality check during practice" I said.
"I know baby but you can't because you'd feel bad about it" explained Ashlyn making me pout because she's right.
Toni's pov* TRIGGERING*
"Hey Alanna we should stop by and check on Alex I haven't heard from her in a while and I know Ali and Ashlyn said that Jill extended camp for them for another week" I said as the movie we were watching finished.
"Yeah lets go have you noticed how quiet she's been lately" asked Alanna.
"Yeah I've noticed a few bruises too do you think somethings going on" I asked hoping Alex was okay.
"Has Ashlyn or Ali said anything about it because I'm sure they'd know something" explained Alanna.
"Yeah but right now we need to check on alex" I said as we got into my car and then headed to Alex's place. Once we made it too Alex's place we got out of the car and walked up to the front door.
"Hey her door is open" said Alanna as she gently pushed open the door.
"Alex are you here buddy" I asked as we slowly walked into her house and we noticed shit thrown everywhere glass broken and a decent amount of blood on the floor.
"Alex please say something" begged Alanna as we walked farther into her house.
"Maybe we should call the police" I suggested.
"Yes I'll go do that while you find alex but please don't touch anything" explained Alanna.
"Wait why do I have to go alone" I pouted.
"Just go do it and I won't be so mean to you during Pride practice" explained Alanna as she called the cops.
"You better stick to your word" I mumbled as I started looking through the house to see if Alex was anywhere.
"Alex babe where are you this isn't funny" I said when I walked into bedroom too see something I'd never want to see in my life.
"ALEX" I yelled as I ran to her.
"H-help me p-please" whispered Alex who was currently bleeding out on the floor.
"It's okay Alex we have the cops coming right now things will be okay don't try to talk okay you are losing to much blood but please try and keep your eyes open okay" I said trying to stay strong.
"I-I'm sorry" whispered Alex.
"No you have no reason to be sorry okay we will get you some help okay" I said.
"W-want Hope" slurred Alex.
"Okay okay we will get ahold of her don't worry" I told Alex while trying to make sure she won't die on us.
"C-Chris I-I'm sorry" stuttered Alex while coughing up some blood.
"Hey hey come on don't do this to us alex please keep your eyes ope " I begged her.
Abby's pov*
"What do you mean Alex is in the hospital Jill" I asked.
"Her fellow pride players found her they are at the hospital right now. Alex is not in the best of shape they don't think she'll make it her wounds are pretty severe and to her fellow pride players alex wouldn't stop saying that she wanted hope so I'm letting you go tell her she needs to go to Orlando oh tell press too I've noticed how those too can't seem to leave Alex's side but Tobin stays here" explained Jill which pissed me off.
"You want me to tell Hope and Christen  hey by the way Alex is the hospital and might not make it are you fucking serious right now" I said then walked away to go find Hope and Christen.
"Hey Abby you look pissed" said Lauren.
"Because I am have you seen Hope and Christen by any chance I have to tell them something important" I asked.
"Yeah they are both on the field practicing for a little bit" answered Lauren.
"Okay I'll be right back then" I said as I left the hotel.
Christen's pov*
"You do know that the team thinks we are practicing right" laughed Hope as we just laid on the field.
"Yeah but I know we were going to but then I just felt like laying down" I said as I lightly shoved her.
"So how are things between you and Tobin" asked Hope.
"To be honest I'm not necessarily sure she's been gone until I fall asleep and when I wake up she's gone so it's a little suspicious I guess but I'm probably just paranoid" I answered.
"Really that's pretty strange hmm maybe you should talk to her about it" suggested Hope.
"I will maybe after this camp" I answered.
"Oh my god I finally found you two also why are you laying on the ground Lauren said you both were out here practicing" asked Abby confused.
"Yeah we were gonna practice but then we decided to just chill on the ground" explained Hope.
"Anyways why were you looking for us is everything okay " I asked as me and Hope both sat up.
"You and Hope need to go to Orlando and Jill only said that you two can go. Something happened to Alex and she's in the hospital and apparently they don't think alex is going to make it" explained Abby.
"What do you mean they don't think she'll make it what happened" I asked as I helped Hope get off the ground.
"You two go ahead and leave me and the rest of the team will get your things together after camp" said Abby.
"We can take my car Orlando isn't that far of a trip" said Hope as we just left Abby standing in the field alone but we just need to get to alex quickly.
"Should we change before we get there" I asked even though we were both just in basket ball shorts and a hoodie" I asked Hope.
"No im sure we will be okay" answered Hope as we speed off.
Kelley's pov*
"Hey where's your girlfriend at tobito" I asked Tobin who was currently playing on her her switch.
"To be honest I don't know" answered Tobin.
"How do you not know where your own girlfriend is at" I exclaimed not really believing that Tobin doesn't know where press is at.
"She's a little mad at her girlfriend" said Ashlyn making me even more confused.
"Why are you mad at Christen what did she do" I asked.
"She's just constantly hanging out with Hope and it's annoying me" answered Tobin as she paused her game.
"Well have you talked to her about it because Tobin you like to keep things to yourself" explained Ashlyn.
"No" said Tobin.
"Christen has been there for Hope since the day we all found out about Alex and she's been there for alex too all three of them have been pretty close this camp" I said.
"That's true" said Ashlyn.
"Now come on we have things we need to do" I said as I stood up and stretched a little.
"What do we have to do" asked Ash confused.
"Find press and Hope" I answered as I opened the door to see Carli sanding there.
"Um hi may we help you" I asked a little confused as too why she's standing there.
"Abby told me to come get you three" answered Carli.
"Um okay I guess" said Ashlyn as we all followed Carli to the meeting room.
Margaret's pov*
"Okay I hate to be the person to give you all the bad news like this especially when it has to do with our teammate" said Abby.
"Can't you just tell us" said Kelley.
"As you can see Hope and Christen aren't here" said Lauren.
"Yeah why is that are they okay" I asked hoping they didn't get fired.
"Well they are in Orlando because well a few pride players went to go check on Alex and found her beaten nearly to death with multiple stab wounds. They honestly don't know if Alex is going to make it through the surgeries she's going to need and if she does alex won't be the same guys. Who knows if she'll want to play soccer again" explained Abby causing Sydney to walk over too Carli.
"If I didn't give a shit about my career I swear to god I'll be the one beating the shit out of you for not minding your own fucking business. Why were you so against Alex this whole camp huh. What did she ever do to you Carli if this is about her starting more than you then maybe you should stop missing goals that are so fucking easy to make. We were helping Alex we were coming up with a plan to see where alex could stay until we had her boyfriend in custody"said Sydney as she grabbed Carlis chair and yanked it back.
"Anyways what pride players found her" asked Ali while some of the older players tried to get Syd to calm down.
"Toni and Alanna they are probably still at the hospital with Alex until Hope and Christen get there Jill won't let the rest of us go which is understandable in a way we all can't be at the hospital but Jill did say camp would be finished this week and then we could all go to Orlando but we have to talk with Hope and press to make sure that's okay we don't need to overwhelm Alex" explained Abby.
Hope's pov* TRIGGERING*
"Hope and Christen over here" I heard Alanna say so me and Christen ran over too them.
"Do you have any updates on her yet" I asked.
"Well she's been in surgery the whole time until you two got here but besides that we don't know much they said you are her emergency contact so I'm sure they could update the both of you but we need to get back home and probably let the other pride players know" explained Toni.
"Okay thanks for staying me and press here will keep you two updated" I explained.
"That's all we ask for" said Alanna as they hugged us then left.
"Welp looks like we will be chilling here for a while press" I said as we both sat down.
"Let's hope not" said Christen.
"Yeah I just really want Alex to be okay you know" I said to Christen as we waited for the doctors.
"Family for Alex Morgan" said the doctor causing me and press to stand up.
"Are you family" asked the doctor.
"I'm her sister and she's her girlfriend" said Christen.
"Well I'm doctor Hansen and well we did lose her a few times but she's okay as okay can be in her situation. She has 3 broken ribs, has some rope burn around her wrists, she was stabbed in the stomach and she also had some serious blunt force trauma but we fixed everything up so she should be fine she might not wake up for a while though but you can go stay in her room I'll let them know you guys will be here for Alex so the visitation hours won't matter to you guys since the other girls said her parents don't talk to her anymore well anyways her room is 113" said Dr. Hansen which caused me and Christen to run too her room.
"What are we going to do when she wakes up Hope I'm sorry for asking but I want to be able too know she's safe you know we've could have lost her a few times during that surgery" asked Christen as we stood in front of Alex's hospital room both of us too scared to actually walk in afraid to see the damage that was done to her.
"Well are you living with Tobin because I think I figured out a plan" I asked.
"No I don't think we are fully ready to live together but what's your plan" asked Christen.
"Well how about we get a place here in Orlando with 3 bedrooms since I'm officially done playing soccer I don't necessarily have to stay in Seattle because I'm going to need help with Alex" I explained.
"Well I don't mind staying in Orlando soccer season doesn't start for a while either way I can take a personal leave" explained Christen.
"Alright sounds like a plan now are you ready to enter the room" I asked.
"Not really but I guess it doesn't matter" said Christen as she opened the door.
"Oh Alex" I whispered once we walked into the room with the door closing behind us.
"Come on let's sit down" said Christen as she grabbed the chairs and pushed them closer to the hospital bed.
"She looks so small laying here Christen" I said trying not too cry because I know I need to be strong for Christen if she decides she wants to start crying.
Mal's pov*
"Do you have more homework to do" asked Rose.
"Nope I'm done with all the homework I was given I'm honestly just ready for school too be over" I answered.
"How are you not overly exhausted" asked Lindsey who was currently just laying on the floor.
"I am exhausted don't get me wrong but my girlfriend is a little paranoid that I'll end up getting hurt during practice she makes me stop doing homework at a certain time" I explained.
"What does your girlfriend even look like" asked Rose. So I grabbed my phone and looked through the most recent pictures I had of her. *check the top of the chapter it's a pic of Zendaya*
"Holy shit how the hell did you manage to bag someone as hot as her" asked Lindsey.
"I'm decently attractive and some girls like female soccer players thank you very much now quit judging me" I said as I tried getting my phone back from rose.
"Careful your head can only get so big now come on I think it's time for bed we have one more practice I'm sure it's going to be early in the morning and will last for a couple hours to make sure we are on top of our game" said Lindsey as she stood up and stretched.
"Yeah you are probably right well Mal good night we will see you at practice" said rose as they gave me a hug and then left and I got ready for bed but didn't go too sleep until I told my girlfriend Goodnight. Then once I told her goodnight I finally fell asleep dreading getting up for practice early in the morning.
