The sunset sun shone through your window, the particles of dust and fur danced above you. The cold breeze of the shoreline contrasted the warmth on your skin. Despite the calm nightfall, the noise of dragon hunters working outside cut the silence like a knife. Much to your dismay, your head seemed to be punishing you from the lack of silence and proper rest.

Especially considering what had happened the week before.

Talking of 'The week before' immediately brings you even more stress. Bringing your hands to your temples, you recalled:

Firstly, Viggo, your brother, had requested your presence. You didn't mind that at all, if only you didn't have mixed feelings for your dear brother...This whole dragon hunting ordeal has done nothing but leave a bad taste in your mouth, increasing through the years.

Some nights it feels like you swallowed a cup of Changewing acid.

Yet, despite all of those feelings, you still loved your brother. Even if all he wanted was your healing skills, you wouldn't skip the chance of seeing him and Ryker.

After all...
Being a dragon hunter births nothing but a lonely existence.

You remember getting into his ship, expecting to find both of your brothers. Especially Viggo, you've not seen him in months, and him asking you personally to handle the health of his crew and dragons surely gave you that impression.

Oh, how wrong you were.

You found nothing but your oldest brother, Ryker, you didn't exactly hate him, yet never properly bonding with him, even when you two were kids, made your stay even more bitter.

Although...You had to admit, your brother's new "business partners" sure are interesting.

First, a redhead, obnoxious, loud, berserker leader. He had a patchy and messy beard and an even messier haircut. Dagur the Deranged. Secondly, a black-haired girl, she stuck out so badly, like someone tried to finish a puzzle with a piece from another set. She has a beautiful looking Razorwhip dragon. Her name was Heather. Both stood taller than you.

It seemed like both Dagur and Heather will be your new crewmates, and it seems like the former also got quite attached to you.

You couldn't lie, you were drawn to him too. Truly, you were so damn lucky. You, a healer wanting nothing but peace and quietness, liking the company of a loud berserker.

Just great.

You stirred up. You should stop thinking about this sort of stuff in a situation like this. Your emotions weren't going anywhere, you could deal with them later.

Especially with what just happened. Leading to the real issue you had in hand right now; Your brother's ships had just been wrecked by those he called 'dragon riders'. Much to your brother's dismay, he had to listen to you and had to back off the right. Whoever, that didn't stop the fact that many were injured and hurt, especially Dagur, Ryker, and Heather's dragon(Who refused your help, despite your healing skills extending to dragons too).

You had spent a whole day fixing, cleaning, and preventing any infections on your crewmates, you just had finished helping your brother. He left with a silent thanks, feeling your nearly palpable stress by now, he must have known to leave you alone in a time like this. And you silently thanked him for leaving you alone. Yet, you were quite restless inside your improvised doctor's tent. You had stayed enough time alone in there to make your headache come down enough to make it bearable, it was almost night. And you were feeling finicky, you need air, checking on your 'crewmates' didn't seem like a bad idea either.
