You showed a surprised look.
As Shoto has never been much of a romantic person, he easily became embarassed.
So he looks away- anywhere but your alluring eyes.
"I-I realized I was rather rushed. I just couldn't help but want the idea of having a relationship with you quickly."
Flustered, you simply blinked your eyes, trying to process the moment.
"But I admit, I was wrong. I should have did a different and slower approach. Forgive me if I disgraced you- especially if you became uncomfortable that time because of me.."
"Oh! Don't worry, I 'passed' my curfew so I needed to leave that time. I truly apologize for my rudeness..!"
"That isn't important. What I would like to know is... Who was that man?"
You looked at him with a brow arose.
"A man?"
Shoto clenched his jaw. "Yes. The blonde and tall one. He... He escorted you out of the palace."
The familiar feeling of frustration that once swelled in him that evening began to sprout in him again.
You deadpanned, sweating in nervousness.
What were you supposed to say?
Ah! My dog magically became a man out of no where when a sudden fairy pops up!
Of course not.
So you awkwardly scratched your neck.
"He's um.. a friend. But I doubt that you'd see him again as he's much of a traveler." You lied.
Shoto felt a bit relieved but still didn't felt all better.
"I see. A friend who ignorantly showed intimacy at my Royal Ball. More or so less in front of royalty." He spat, jealous.
You sweatdropped.
"I shall have him beheaded once I see him again." He said in seriousness and anger.
But you weren't nervous at all.
Maybe it was because you knew he still wouldn't be able to find him no matter how hard he'd try as Bakugou is a dog.
"Oh my, such a harsh punishment. Do excuse him. He's rather barbaric in nature. I apologize in behalf of him." You lightly bowed in apology.
'She didn't even make a mistake yet she still stood up for this man-'
"And if anything, I'm at fault here Your Grace. I forcibly invited him to the ball. I shall humbly recieve the punishment of-"
"Wait no!" Shoto immediately stopped your sentence midway.
You widen your eyes in surprise.
Embarassed, Shoto averted his eyes away. "Excuse me. I accidentally raised my tone."
You almost giggled. "That's alright, My Prince."
'My Prince..' The man thinks of it again.
