Journey With Selene

Chapter 2

"Hello Mindoro." Rinig kong bati ni Kelly habang tinatanaw ang white sand ng Puerto Galera.

I looked at the beach, the blue sea and the perfectly white sand. "Are you excited Selene?" Sabi ni Jude make-up artist ko.

"Yeah, this place is beautiful." I said while admiring the fresh view.

Dumiretso kami sa rest house na tutuluyan namin for the next three months. Three floors ito, sa baba ay may maliit na living room at mini kitchen. The house has exactly 6 rooms. Dalawa sa first floor, tatlo sa second at isa sa third floor.

"Ms. Selene, sa inyo na daw po yung room sa third floor. Malawak po yun at spacious din ang balcony." Sabi sa akin ni Sarah isa sa team ko. Sampo kami ngayon sa team ko so for sure may magsasama sa kwarto.

I asked Felix and Justin to help me with my bags upstairs. "Okay na ako dito, thank you." I said.

I looked at my room, it was pretty big. Maaliwalas dim dahil malaki ang bintana. Maganda din ang view dahil tanaw mo ang beach. Pinasok ko na ang maleta ko at isa-isang sinalansan ang gamit ko. "Selene?" I heard Kelly's knock.

"Come in." I said while re-folding my clothes.

"Naayos na namin ang arrangement sa room, may extra cushion naman kaya lahat magiging komportable sa pagtulog. You have two days rest, today and tomorrow bago ang unang shoot. Gusto mo bang ipa-prepare ko na ang breakfast?"

I looked at her. "Yes, for sure gutom na kayo. Para din makapag-pahinga na yung iba." Tumango sya sa akin bago umalis.

I changed to my slides since mas kumportable ito. I also updated my IG story showing the beach and the place I'm staying in. I uploaded a self portrait wearing my tank top and denim shorts. Mabilis namang nag-comment ang mga kaibigan ko.

I laughed at their comments before going downstairs. Buti ay may wifi dito sa bahay kaya mabilis kami maka-update sa social media.

Nagsimula na kaming mag-breakfast lahat. Most of them are making plans on what to do with the beach. "Ikaw Miss. Selene? Ano balak nyo mamaya?" Tanong ni Jane.

"Matutulog muna siguro ako tas pupunta ako sa tiangge pagka-hapon."

Agad din kaming natapos sa breakfast. Tinungo ko ang third floor at tumambay sa kwarto. I endulged myself on the soft mattress before falling fast asleep.

I woke up feeling good, 4pm na nang magising ako. Ang haba pala ng itinulog ko and I missed lunch. Okay lang din hindi naman ako ganon nagutom since marami akong nakain sa breakfast kanina.

I wento to the bathroom and took a bath. I changed to a powder blue tank top and black shorts. I applied some lip cream before drying my hair. Bibilhan ko muna ng pasalubong sina Maeve since magiging busy ako the following days baka makalimutan ko pa silang bilhan.

I headed downstairs. Tatlo na lang ang natira sa amin. "Lumabas yung iba?" I asked.

"Opo miss, kagagaling lang po namin sa dagat maganda po mag-swimming dun ngayon." Anyaya ni Jude.

Tumango ako sa kanila bago lumabas. Tanaw naman dito ang tiangge kaya imposibleng maligaw pa ako. Ilang minuto rin ang nilakad ko bago nakarating sa tiangge. It's filled with hand crafted goods and accessories

I went to a store and scanned their hats. "Yes ma'am, 250 na lang po sa maliit naman 150" Sabi ng tindera

"Aling Jena ito na yung bigas oh." I heard a man said. I looked at him, he's tall and masculine. Wavy ang buhok nito at moreno. He glanced at me before looking at the tindera.
