"Hey Sehir," Lavender said as he and Sehir landed at the bottom of the entrance tunnel, "will you do me a favor?"

Sehir looked around before pushing her glasses up her snout and turning to look at him. "I suppose," she said calmly, but Lavender could see that her tail-tip was twitching with the excitement of helping a fellow dragon.

"I'd like you to bring Crystal to see me," he said before adding hurriedly, "- if she wants to that is."

Sehir gave him a sidelong glance before chuckling silently, "oh I know the feeling."

"Pardon me?"

"The feeling of being in love my dear."

Lavender's heart skipped a beat; he had never heard a dragon confront him about his feelings with so much understanding. Hornsby knew- he didn't seem to care, Wavecrusher knew- he would rip Lavender's face off if he so much as looked at Crystal wrong, Crystal probably knew- Lavender wasn't sure what she would think, But Sehir understood what it was like.

"If you don't mind me asking," Lavender began, "who is your-"

"Flamehley," Sehir said, looking thoughtfully at the ceiling in a daydreamy sort of way.

"What?" Lavender said, taken aback by her response.

"He and I were friends since we were hatchlings-," Sehir explained, "we became the sort of friends who share everything and every moment with each other. It didn't even phase us that we were different species; we were just happy. As we grew older, however, we grew more distant due to Flamehley picking up his role as Prince. We still saw each other which made every time we met special. After a while of this, my heart began to ache more and more until I realized why; it was love, Lavender, love!"

"What happened then?" Lavender asked tentatively.

"Oh, well," Sehir said, "I'm afraid I'd like to keep that personal..."

"Oh no! It's all right! I'm sorry for intruding."

Sehir just laughed, "oh no need to apologize! Lavender listen," she stopped walking, turned, and looked deep into his eyes, "I wouldn't have told you anything if I didn't trust you. All right?"

"All right."

"Very good," Sehir said, turning to walk again, "I'll make sure to send Crystal up here and whether you like it or not I'd advise you to tell her."

"Tell her..."

"Oh for the love of all dragons Lavender sometimes you seem to be really thick! Is there some things that just seem to not be able to pass through that thick head of yours?"

But Lavender couldn't be bothered to truly pay attention to Sehir's scolding as he got lost in his own thoughts.

"Sehir," Lavender said abruptly, "do you... think Crystal feels the same?"

Sehir stopped her ranting and once again looked thoughtfully at the ceiling, "of course I do," she said. "Who wouldn't love a dragon like you?"

"Yeah..." Lavender said, "I guess you're right..."

"You know it!"

Once again, after a while of twisting and turning throughout the palace, Sehir and Lavender finally reached a room beside what seemed to be a dining hall.

"I'll be back with Crystal!" Sehir promised, sticking her tongue out at him teasingly. Lavender just nodded and focused on the room around him.

The left side had a desk, a bookshelf, and a torch-heater thing. Hanging in baskets filled with sand over top of the desk were some plants that were common in The Flaming Desert. On the other side of the desk, closest to Lavender, was a door which he guessed led to a bedroom or a closet.
