Elena's P.O.V
That's it. I've had it with Stefan and Damon, that's the last straw. After twenty years they haven't changed, even Stefan: the guy who always respected my decisions, and Damon, well there's no surprise, he's always been the way he is.

I broke up with them both years ago. Now for two decades, they've both been trying to win me back; I'm at the end of my rope with both of them. Damon had a brief relationship with Bonnie: Caroline and I figured out that our blood when combined with the Immortality spell can be used as an elixir of immortality, we both used this to our advantage, and Bonnie has been doing this to our blood and drink if it herself that she's never ages anymore than we have.

Matt, meanwhile moved to San Diego and married this girl called Rachael; they married back in 2016, about nineteen years ago. They had two children. We've seen less of Matt as the years have passed- of course, how could we see him since we're the same as we were from the day they married- we miss him, but Matts and Rachael had some bad stuff happen to them years ago, it's scarred them for life, it's actually why we haven't withheld any contact with them and suddenly become strangers to one another.

Tyler remained a hybrid and darted off into the night; it's his trump card, a full moon, becoming a furry wild dog at will and running free like an animal who's just survived a poachers trap. Caroline and Tyler certainly had their share of differences and disputes over the years, but fortunately, they remained the best of friends. A werewolf/hybrid and a vampire, unbelievable. Caroline took off a year ago, she came back from her "holiday" as she called it and looked ever so befuddled- if I remember correctly- something was on her mind, but what? At least I still have Caroline with me, like me she remained a vampire and we haven't seen ourselves age even a second; we've seen Bonnie age a couple of times, but since we're 'besties' she's drank our blood combined with the spell and reverted back to the same Bonnie that we've always known.

Now, well I guess me, Caroline and Bonnie (mostly me) are finding it hard to adapt to this ongoing immortality. I always said that the perk of being a vampire was being with the one you always wanted forever, but now I'm just so unsure of that; I mean what's the point of having your "True Love" when the clock never turns for you, when you can just live and never move forward? Caroline always said that the best thing about being a vampire:
"We can go anywhere we wanna go." She's had her fair share of this joyous opportunity.

Me?! I've been stuck in Mystic Falls with the very two brothers who both fell for me, I fell for them and now I've realised that they're not what I thought. But that could just be the downside of why I'm stuck as a healthy young- over 40 in human years- teenage girl. I'm losing any happiness I though that there was to being immortal; if I'm honest, I guess I miss being human sometimes, and I'd give nothing more than to find a way to help me be happy with being this young, but deadly creature.

And I know jut what.

"Caroline!" screaming as loud as I can to wake my best friend up.
Caroline had a late night last night, she worked late and had to compel one or two grown ups who thought they recognised her.

There goes a thud; Caroline fell out of bed and now she's in a bad mood.
"Seriously, Elena! I know it's morning, but I didn't have my eyes shut till 1:30 this morning." don't wanna wake her up like this again.

"Care, it's actually 12, lunchtime." Caroline doesn't know what she's missing.

"Oh." Well the heats off, for the moment.

I make my way downstairs. "I'll get you brunch." 'Brunch' breakfast and lunch combined together into one little word.

Our house is quiet and peaceful. Caroline, Bonnie and I got this house about ten years ago, I decided to move out of the Salvatore boarding house and live with. My best fried like any other girl would. Bonnie's gone, she left a note on the table:
