I stared at the night sky, clouds softly moving across the glass I watched through. I sigh, looking away from the sky. I could tell it had been around 4 am. Yet, 𝙝𝙚 isn't back yet. I take the soft velvet sheets off my body, my pale feet touching the cold ground.

    𝙔𝙚𝙩 𝙄 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙𝙣'𝙩 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙢𝙮 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙩.

I open the large wooden door. Where is he? He must be outside, searching for food.
    𝙃𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙨, 𝙄 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣.

I slowly close the door, turning to walk through the dark hallway. I'll find him..

     "𝘋𝘪𝘰! 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴, 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦! " 𝘐 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘨𝘦𝘥, 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘱 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴.

Flashbacks of that horrid night, rush through my mind. A creature of the night, is what I am. I prayed to any God out there.

"Please! Higher beings! Free me from this pain!" I begged on my knees to the moon. I wished for the feeling of death to wrap around my skin. Memories of being a human, visible, but felt as if they were never there.

"Oh Jonathan, where were you to save me.. I should have trusted you." I sob out of my throat, sliding down on the rocky wall.

"I chose him over our friendship. Oh how I wished you saved me from this inevitable body of mine." I scream out, not caring if any ghoul or human heard my pleads.
