"Hahaha, laugh it up? Like ya'll wouldn't go all ninja if you walked through a web." I state ,hoping they don't see that there wasn't one.
"Neenee, there was no web, I just walked past there and felt nothing!" My brother calls me out.
"Neenee?" Derek asks with a mischievous grin.
"Aye, only my brother and dad call me that!! Dont tell a soul or ill go ninja on you!" I do a ninja kick just emphasize my point.
After watching them all play call of duty zombie edition. Me and Derek went upstairs to watch a movie.
"Neenee, can I ask you something?" He asks as he looks through the movie titles on Hulu .
THUMP
"Owe, well that was rude!"He says while being dramatic and rubbing the hip that hit the floor , when I shoved him off the bed.
"I told you not to call me that. My kung-fu is strong!" I state while laughing at his facial expression.
"Well get over it. I promise not to call you it during school ,but in private I shall call you NEENEE!" He says as he plops back on the bed beside me, grabbing the roku remote.
"Anyways!! Yes you can ask me something." I tell him
"You heard about the previous owner of this house right?" He mumbles.
I take a deep breath, I knew It was going to come up.
"I heard last night from my dad, that apparently twenty years ago someone died in the shed out back." I try to say as nonchalant as possible.
"Yea, his name was Jason. They don't know what happened to him. The case went cold due to the lack of evidence. I've heard from the people from school that he was only like twenty-five." He explains but continues on. "
"They say this house is haunted, like many people have tried to buy the place but some reason the sale wouldn't go through. It was like the buyer would get scared or they would run into bad luck and not make the payment in time."
He stops talking for a moment and looks at me in all seriousness," in twenty years yall are the first to move in with no problem." He exclaims"Well that was alot to take in. Thank you for telling me, but I dont believe in that kind of stuff. Im a little freaked to live where someone died but as for it being haunted or whatever, I don't believe so." I tell him with a straight face.
I'm not lying, well not really. I mean I have noticed some weird things happening but its just me being in a new house and my mind is just adding to the fact of the stories I keep hearing.
"Ok, but it you ever need to talk or need to get away. Please don't be afraid to ask me. We besties now Neenee." He says as he throws one arm around my shoulder and snuggles up to me.
I laugh and shove him off. " so you're my guy best friend now?" I ask with a laugh.
"Aht aht, im BI-SEXUAL!" He exclaims and stretches out the word Bi-sexual.
I cant bring my self to respond i just look at him and laugh.
He smiles at me and bops my nose. His face turns serious suddenly and he whispers in my ear. " I'd still tear dat ass up."
My eyes go wide at his sudden bluntness, then before I can think of what to say he laughs.
" Neenee, im just fucking with you. Like I said i have a boyfriend and im happy with him, but know i don't discriminate, I like what I like. So no one is safe from all this." He says as he flexes his biceps and wiggles his eye brows at me.
