Chapter 5
Bella woke up first and stopped the alarm. She went to brush her teeth and then woke up Lilliana and Emma. They then also went to do what Bella already did. After they all got dressed, they went down to the 7-11 to get some breakfast. All of them got coffee but they each got something else as well. Emma bought some yoghurt, Bella got a sandwich and Lilliana got some fresh fruit. They then located the bus to Universal Studios and went on their way. They arrived and went to the entrance. They had already bought the tickets online so they directly went into the park and skipped the lines. The first thing they did was to locate a map and find the rides they wanted to ride. Once they did that, they went to the first attraction which was the Spiderman ride. It was 3D and followed Spiderman around as he fought crime. There was one point where the ride tipped and they went sideways. They also bumped into different things and stopped unexpectedly. Once the ride was over, they looked at the map again and then went to the Minion Park. There were some different places to take photos and there was a very good ride called Minion Mayhem. The ride was training them to become minions as they were turned into minions by Gru's machine. They were sent down a pipe on more than one occasion. The ride was 4D and when the littlest girl dropped her present she soon fell as well so they had to rush after her, as they chased her and her present. The ride ended when one minion accidentally used the machine to turn them back into humans.
The next ride was in the Jurassic Park section of the park. For this, they put on their raincoats as they were warned that they would get really wet if they did not. The line was fairly long but it was worth it. There was a big boat that held up to 25 people and they all filed into it. The ride started soon after and to start off with, there was a small drop in which they went up then dropped down a meter or two and they then splashed down into the water. After that, they passed some crates filled with dinosaurs and they trespassed into a restricted area. Then, an alarm set off and it started making a really loud noise. Like ringing. They then saw a big t-rex at the end and they were all really surprised. When they escaped it, they had to slip through its legs which lead to a big drop. They were really surprised and since the ride was quite high, so they were also quite shocked. The next ride they got on was the pterodactyl ride. They decided to go on it because one of their friends rode it before and said that it was really fun. They pushed back our shoulder security things and soon started the ride. They dropped up and flew down. They also went upside down at times. The ride was truly really good and they knew they would ride it again if they could. Once the ride had finished, they left with the intentions to come back the next day.
They then rushed to the Harry Potter section of the park. The ride had a long wait but they decided to stay in line. When they we waiting, they saw many different portraits and a few "ghosts" as well. They were in Hogwarts after all. The ride was called Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. It was very fun. At the start of the ride, there was a conveyor belt which lead to the seats. They sat on them and pushed down the shoulder safety bar. They then saw Hermione, and she threw Floo over them. They then soon started to chase after Harry and Ron. They also saw Hagrid, who asked them if they had seen a a dragon, and he was holding some chains. That were meant to keep the dragon. They then almost immediately saw the dragon and raced after it. They met Harry again, and they wandered after the dragon, they then followed it as it it raced across the sky. After that, they followed Harry as they crossed the lake and turned back to hogwarts. The view was amazing. They had to wait in a short line for the hippogriff ride named flight of the hippogriff. It was a roller coaster ride which was quite fun. They immediately rose up and dropped and went into a circle. They then went back up dropped down again and then turned sharply. The ride was quite short but it was really fun so they were fine with it. After that, they went to the three broomsticks. They got a butterbeer each and ordered two plates of food to share. They got the chicken and ribs platter and the rotisserie smoked chicken platter to share. Lilliana and Emma got the corn on the cob because Bella did not like them as much and there were only two. They then finished their food and butterbeers and left.
