i fricking hate sailing

why?

its stupid

now i feel bad for the coach cause he himself is very nice but sailing is stupid.

so the reason I'm doing sailing is because of scout. i am a sea scout even though I get seasick (i have not idea wth i was thinking but my friends are in so maybe that's why) so I knew I would have to suck my seasickness up and I was prepared for that so my friend (im gonna name her every for now) said that to was fun and we would get a badge. around an hour into the sailing, we were still paddling like with some small things and it was getting tiring she and my other friend (im gonna name her emma) were arguing as usual because emma had a bit of a temper. me and emmas relative (imma name her Samantha from now on) were just chatting and arguably doing the most work. that's when avery dropped the bombshell that it had nothing to do with scout. at all. if we wanted to get a badge, we would have to go through a bunch of paperwork and all that in order to even get a badge. us three (read me Samantha and emma) had only joined because avery said that it was fun and would join us but she did not as she (we suspect faked) some stomach pains. I knew she did not get seasick so that was ruled out. after the first hour, she went back to the shore. but the thing was each sailing boat had to have two people for easy ness. us three crammed onto one boat and set off. we thankfully had not attached the sail yet as we were just learning how the hell to sail and had not reached that part yet. we had to manually push the water and the paddles weren't even oars just plastic pieces with stuff cut out from them. by the time lunch had rolled around, I was seasick and about to vomit. (now that is a good reason to stop) thankfully, our coach had a speedboat and I rode that instead back to the shore as it was less rocky. we had lunch and by then my seasickness was gone. we got back onto the boat and one of us rode with the coach on his speed boat. we attached the sail and started actually using the sail and the rudder and not the paddle. ( I forgot to mention we were with two other 7-9-year-old boys and they were very slow. they were fine but super slow) by then we were all tired and we all were annoyed. we then went back up at like idk 3:45 maybe 4 we saw avery on the couch lying down super relaxed and she did not even help us one bit. she watched us as we struggled with everything and didn't even offer to help. it was windy so our arms were tired from pulling the ropes. us three were pissed and told her to put the thing away but she just stood there. after we had finished without her help we went to the bathroom and changed and then left after that I got home and my mom yelled at me for not doing music and theory which is super hard(excuse me im doing my history which is a assessment and important and also more important homework) and I had a very crappy day in general and I could not even make brownies

the end (I still have to go sailing tomorrow unless there's a typhoon)

wish me luck if I die tmr @-tamagotchii @-polqrbeqr @-HOLMESBURY you guys are invited to my funeral
