Chapter 6
When the alarm went off in the morning, they all woke up at the same time. They all got up, although Lilliana did it much more reluctantly but somehow got ready the fastest. She then sat on the comfortable chair and waited for the others as they finished off. Once they had, they went to the bus stop once again and rode it to Universal Studios. Then, after they got there, they decided to go to the Harry Potter rides. The rides were really fun although they were the same as the day before. After they rode those, they decided to go get some food from a nearby stall and then they started to ride the rides again. This time, they decided to go and ride the dinosaur ride, the Flying Dinosaur and quickly joined the waiting line for the ride. When they had finished the ride, they decided to go on a food tour since they did not want to do any more rides. For now anyway. They went around and found all sorts of foods and walked around playing all types of carnival games. The girls then decided to walk around in some stores and pretend to be the different types of characters. They had lots of fun. They were prepared to leave to go and find some lunch until they saw an open door to an unknown section of the park.
The girls were going to tell security but saw someone running past and decided that the open gate must have been a careless mistake by some of the staff. They went to the Harry Potter section of the park once again because they liked the lunch so much, they decided to go back there again. They got in the line and waited for their turn. They got the same food as the day before but decided to mix up their drinks. Emma decided on a apple cider, Bella went with frozen butterbeer and Lilliana chose to get a lemonade. They munched on their food and when they finished that, they also finished their drinks and then they took off once more. The little group then decided to go around Hogsmade and see what was in the shops as they did not get to the previous day. Once they decided to do that, they had to chose which shop to go to. To decide how to do that, they all decide on one shop each and played rock paper scissors to see where they would go first. Bella won and and they had to go to her pick and that was the Owlry. They made their way there and got in. The trio of girls got entered and separated to see different things. Emma went to the stuffed owls section and both Bella and Lilliana went to the pin section. After around 20 minutes, they all met at the cash register and payed for their souvenirs. Lilliana surprised them all by getting them Harry Potter pins in their houses and one for their other really good friend named Alexia who was unable to come on the trip with them. They were about to leave when Emma saw her friend Sharon and went to ask what she was doing there. It turns out, she was there with her family on a vacation. She then noticed the other two and said hi to Bella and Lilliana as well. They all knew each other from school but Emma and Sharon lived close together so the saw each other quite a lot and knew each other better. The group then went to see her family and they said hi before they all went their separate ways.
After they went to the Owlery, they decided to go to Honeydukes. Once they got to Honeydukes, they all split up and each went to a different section of the store. Emma ended up at the section with Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. Bella, on the other hand, went to a section with acid pops and spent ages looking at all the different flavours. Lilliana headed to the section of the store that had the chocolate frogs. She got a few big boxes and some small boxes for her family. Once she was done there, she went to find Bella first, who had a bag full of acid pops and then they went to find Emma, who had an armful of beans. There was also a few of the game version which she was going to keep to herself. On the way to the register, they saw a big wall of jelly beans and each went to fill a small bag of the special Harry Potter flavoured beans. There were flavours there like popcorn and black pepper, and even an earwax flavored one (Alas...earwax.). When they got to the cashier, the line was really long so they had to wait for quite a few minutes. Once they got to the cashier, things sped up and they were able to get out fairly quickly. They then had to see which place they would go next before they saw yet another open door that was meant to be only for the staff. They saw a person pass but their shadow was much smaller, around the height of a 6 year old child.
When they were about to go in, they saw yet another shadow of a child, this time around 4 years old and then a child around 8. They heard the tallest one yell at the other two to stop running and return to where their mother was. This was around the time they made their decision and went into the restricted area. They then stepped through the door and saw the three shadows lurking by a corner and went to tell them that they should go back. They approached the children and told them that they should go back to their parents when they heard the splattering of rain on the floor. They hurried out and went to an undercover area where they got out their raincoats. There were only three raincoats but they decided to give them to the children because they had all brought umbrellas because they had heard that it was quite rainy at that time of year. After they got their umbrella out, they walked for a little before the rain got too hard and they had to take shelter under a piece of the wall which was sticking out. They quickly went there and all huddled together and talked about how they were going to help the children. Then, there was a loud clap of thunder.
The storm steadily got bigger and bigger as time went on. They were discussing what to do while trying to shield the children, especially the youngest one, from the rain and how to contact their parents. They moved closer to the wall as the rain started to spray them. Their next move was to put their backpacks infront of them to make a structure that vaguely resembled a wall. They were surprised they were able to do it but Emma laughed and reminded them that she was studying to become an architect and that they should not be too surprised that they were able to make it with the limited amount of materials. After that, the girls decided to ask if any of the children knew their parent's phone numbers which they probably should have done before but were too busy trying to figure out how to be safe. The children thought for a moment before replying that they only remembered that their mother's phone number started with a 43 and their father's ended with a 28. Well, the three girls thought, that was not much help. Bella and Emma then proceed to ask them which hotel they stayed at while Lilliana tried to reach the service center but the connection kept going out. They eventually gave up on calling and decided to try and keep them safe.
The storm raged on and the three girls faced yet another problem as the kids were hungry. After rummaging in their bag, they found a few granola bars, a few biscuits and a few packets of chips. They also had a few bottles of water, and surprisingly two bottles of soda. They ate a little and drank some of the water first, as the did not want to give the kids a sugar rush and have them wreck everything. Then, they tried to call the service center again because they wanted some help but the connection kept going off and the storm kept on getting louder and louder. Then, the storm stopped. They were really surprised but then the storm started again, but this time much softer. After that, the storm stopped again and they quickly ran to the exit of the park. They hurried and made it to the exit in about ten minutes. After they made it there, they went to the bus stop where they then discovered that the bus was not going to start going on with the route anytime soon so they walked to a nearby street and walked in the direction of the kid's hotel. They soon saw a few taxis and decided to hail one to get to the kid's hotel quicker.
From there, they then took the long way around as the shorter way had been damaged by the storm just an hour before. Once they reached the hotel, they got their umbrellas out as it had started drizzling again they each took a kid with them. After they reached the lobby of the hotel, they went to the reception center and checked what room(s) the kids were staying in. For that, they needed to know the kid's last names. As it turned out, they thankfully remembered their mother and fathers names as well so they could use those if needed. Luckily, they only had one group of people in their hotel with that name and that was the kids and their parents. Once they got the keys, they went to room 2136 to see if the kids parents were there or not. They were not there so they went back down to the lobby and asked if their parents had come by to ask about their kids. They then requested for the reception lady to use the loudspeaker to see if they could use that to find out if the children's parents were in the hotel at all. Soon they came running and met them the girls in the hotel lobby. The parents were very relieved to see that their children were safe and sound and they treated Lilliana, Emma and Bella to dinner as thanks for helping to keep their kids safe.
