My alarm clock went off signaling that I needed to get the hell up. Which I did. But I took a little long with my mourning routine. My bones still ached from painting that fence and sanding the deck. But I will do whatever it takes to be good at what johnny says "learning the way of the fist". I have never been interested in karate. But I trust mr. Miyagi with what hes teaching use. I arrived at his house. Daniel stood there pissed off.
"What happened?" I asked confused.
"I-I dont understand he has use paint his fence and sand his deck and now he wants use to paint his house" he sighed.
"What?" I said as my eyes went wide. He just sighed once more and began setting up.
"I'll do this side you can start on the other side" he said.
"Alright" I said and picked up a paint brush. I saw a paper taped to his door. "What's this?".
"The steps and moves on how we gotta paint the house" he said. I nodded and started painting as I climbed on the ladder.
" you took out ali huh?" I said.
"Yeah" daniel replied.
"So how was it?" I asked curious.
"Oh it was great" he smiled and looked at me. "She talked about how she never had fun like that in a long time".
"Aww" I said.
"Dont start on the whole, "you guys are so cute" now" he laughed.
"But you guys are" I smiled. "She a real nice girl".
"Yeah she is" he said. Silence fell.
"So did ya kiss her". I said. He laughed. "Well did you".
"No not yet" he said.
"Make your move daniel" I said. "She obviously likes you and you like her".
"Yeah" he said.
"So what are you waiting for" I said.
"I dont know, I guess I'm just a little nervous you know" he said.
"Yeah i know what you mean" i said.
"Oh really, you and mr. Karate, sure dont wait for nothing" he said.
"What do you mean?" I put my paint brush down. He glared at me, like I didnt know what he meant. "You mean when he first kissed me".
"No" he said. "I mean that day we came back to school, after the dance. Me and ali saw you guys go into the janitors closet".
"Yeah but, we just talked" I said. He glared at me again. "Alright we kissed, but I mean it all happened so fast and i just you know-" I stopped. "Fell in love with him" I finished.
"You love him" he said.
"I- I dont know" I said. "I guess I do". He kept quiet and just nodded and smiled.

"You almost done with that side?" I asked daniel.
"Yeah" he said loud. We where almost finished. It was late at night and you would think we would be finished by now, with painting a semi small house. But, we wanted to do a good job.
"Oh missed spot" mr. Miyagi said walking towards use.
"What spot?" Daniel said. "H-hey how come you didnt tell me you where going fishing?".
"You not here when I go" he replied and set his stuff down.
"Maybe we wanted to go" I said and climbed off the ladder.
