Taehyung looked up from his files, frustration at the peak because one of the selected models were refusing to come. Hyuna had tried her best in pursuing them into doing it, but to no avail. It was Sehun who was refusing to do it. Taehyung was not angry at the fact that Sehun wasn't ready to come, it was the fact that Hyuna had actually begged Sehun when he had clearly mentioned that she need not do it. They weren't that desperate for him anyway.

"Can I come in Tae-Mr.Kim?" he heard a familiar voice come from the door. He smiled internally at the way the other had corrected himself. He really does want to apologise huh? Was the only thought in his mind. Of course he wanted to know what the other had to say, but what is normal when it comes to Kim Taehyung. So he decided to play with the other a bit. Hyung would be so mad if he got to know this, but I cant help it. Something about teasing Jeungguk always relaxed Taehyung's mind.

"And what if I say you may not, Mr.Jeon?" he could see the startled expression on Jeungguk's face. He surely wasn't expecting to be turned down at the door itself. Taehyung sure was enjoying this. A little too much if one may ask.

On the other hand Jeungguk was battling with his mind. He didn't know what to say now. He had come prepared on what to say and had answers to all the possible questions Taehyung could ask. But this was one he wasn't prepared for.

Taehyung being the king of straight expression, he kept his happiness in very well. So Jeungguk was even more tensed seeing the stoic expression on the elders face, not knowing that the Taehyung inside was jumping around and dancing wildly at seeing Jeungguk's shocked expression. But again, Jeungguk being Jeungguk was not going to give up. He said the most sensible stuff from the thoughts that went through his mind.

"Then that would be rude. What if I came to discuss something about the collaboration?" taehyung was already expecting this answer. He smoothly said, "That would be untrue, because you haven't come with any files or documents regarding our collaboration." +1 Taehyung.

Damn it Jeungguk. This did not work, so he went with being honest.

"Umm. I don't mind having to apologise for my behaviour from outside either." Jeungguk said, flustered.

Taehyung chuckled. "I was just teasing you. Of course I wont let you stand outside. Come inside and take a seat. I promised hyung I would listen to you, so please be honest with me. yeah?"

Jeungguk sighed in relief and nodded. He quickly made his way to the chair that Taehyung was signalling to after closing the door and settled in before looking at Taehyung, with unsure eyes. He surely loved Taehyung and was just hoping he would give him a chance. That's why he was here right now.

"So tell me Jeungguk. What did you want to tell?"

Jeungguk takes a long deep breath and calms himself down before starting. He had remembered the cold gaze the elder had given him in the morning, and was still unable to shake the fear he had because of that. He had some memories with it that he didn't want anyone to uncover yet. "I'm sorry for lying to you today morning. I freaked out and I was scared because I didn't know what had happened. I didn't want to upset you and even though, I know we aren't together I felt like I cheated on you when I saw myself on an unfamiliar bed. I couldn't think straight and when I saw you walk in instead of some random stranger like I was expecting, I was so relieved that I went along with whatever you said without giving it a thought it would hurt you that I had lied to you. I had only later learned from Jimin that you don't like anyone lying to you. And I don't want us to drift apart into strangers who had a one night stand. I really don't. I want us to be more than that. I want us to be more than just friends but I know you are not ready. And I am ready to wait till the time you are comfortable with me, even if it takes an eternity. I would do anything for it but I wont be able to bare the pain of distancing myself from you. You may not know how much you already mean to me, but do know that you mean a lot more to me than you can ever imagine. I didn't know I was capable of loving someone after what happened in America, but now that I do and now that it is you, I don't want to let go of this feelings."

Taehyung listened to everything that Jeungguk had to say patiently. It felt like the younger was getting something off his chest that he had been wanting for a really long time and Taehyung let him do it without interrupting. At the end, Taehyung had only one question. "What happened in America, Gguk?"

Though a smile creeped on Jeungguk's face on hearing his nickname from Tae's mouth again, but he couldn't help the growing fear in his mind on the memories along with the pain and bruises that came on hearing the question. Taehyung understood it wasn't the right time to ask and so he went towards the younger and allowed the younger to hug him. They stayed like that for ten minutes, Taehyung stroking Jeungguk's hair as he calmed down. "It's okay Jeungguk-ah. You don't have to tell me if you are not ready to share it yet. But do know that when you want to, I'll always be here okay?"

Jeungguk got up, leaving Taehyung's warm embrace and regretting it immediately. "Does that mean you forgive me?" a soft smile etched on Tae's face as he ruffled Gguk's hair a bit. Then he walked to his table with the same expression he had seen when he had entered the room. "If you are done, you can leave now." Taehyung said pointing at the door. Jeungguk was confused by the sudden change in Taehyung's behaviour but he went out silently only to be met with Yunki hyung, looking at him expectantly. He confused look instead of the sad look on Jeungguk's face confirmed that his younger brother had in fact forgave him. "The almighty has forgiven you Gguk-ah. It is time to celebrate." Yunki said, forgetting that they are in office and dragged Jeungguk along with him to a nearby café. He had somethings to ask the younger as well. And what better time than this?
