Next morning, Paridhi woke up to the sound of doorbell ringing repeatedly. She looked around and realized that she had fallen asleep on couch in the living room, without even changing her clothes. She had rushed into her home and had just cried for 2 hours straight. She hadn't even changed or eaten anything and had fallen asleep on the couch due to exhaustion. She smoothed her dress and tried to flatten her morning hair as she opened the door, thinking it might be her maid. She gasped as she saw Darshan standing in her doorway, holding two cups of coffee and a big brown package which smelt like breakfast.
"Good morning."
He smiled at her brightly, but his smile vanished as he saw her appearance. She was still in yesterday's clothes and her eyes were red and puffy. There were black circles under her eyes and she looked like she was going to pass out anytime. He frowned as he entered the house, causing her to back away from the door.
"Pari? Kya hua? Are you okay?" He asked worriedly and Paridhi tried to come up with a reason. "I..err..am fine. Mujhe kya hua?" She said, trying to sound casual. Darshan studied her quizzically, not at all convinced by her answer.
"You...I am sorry to say this to a girl...But...you really look like a mess." He said and Paridhi flushed.
"No, Darshan, it's nothing. I am really fine. I was just tired and slept like this." Darshan wanted to press more, but he sensed her discomfort and didn't want to stress her more. So he sighed and shook his head.
"Alright. I am just worried for you. Go, brush your teeth, I brought you breakfast." Paridhi stared at him for a moment then nodded. 15 minutes later, she came back to her living room, freshened up and changed to find Darshan sitting on her couch and playing a game on her playstation. She chuckled as she saw his goofy and happy expression, forgetting all her problems and sorrows. She brought out two glasses of water and waited patiently for Darshan to finish his game. They talked about random things as they ate and Paridhi was grinning happily by the time they finished breakfast.
"Go get showered, we have to leave for the shooting. Take your time, araam se aana, koi jaldi nahi hai. I will finish this game until you get ready." Darshan told her and Paridhi chuckled, shaking her head and muttering, "Boys will be boys."
"I heard that." Darshan shouted as she walked to her bedroom. 1 hour later, they were on the way to shoot.

"....And then I pushed him towards the pool and he lost balance. It was funny to watch as he waved his hands like a bird and then fell into the water screaming like a girl." Darshan narrated as Paridhi laughed uncontrollably.
"Darshan stop....now. My.... stomach is hurting." She gasped as she burst into laughter once more at Darshan's smug, comical grin.
Darshan watched her as she laughed, it was the most beautiful sight for him. Hell, he could give his soul if it meant that Paridhi stayed as happy as she was right now for her entire life. He had noticed that something was bothering her in the morning and he knew that if it was family matter, she wouldn't tell him. Also it would be inappropriate for him to pressure her into telling him. So if he couldn't help her solve the problem, he could at least make her forget about it and relieve her stress. He had told her every funny incident he could think of and made her laugh. That day went in blur, the director pushing Darshan and everyone else to finish shooting. Darshan had a mini photo shoot in the evening and they were done. After they wrapped up, Darshan changed and walked up to Paridhi who was discussing with the director about a few technical things. After they finished talking, Paridhi turned to Darshan and bit her lip when she found him staring at her intently. He sucked in a breath when she bit her lip and looked away. "Don't." He said in a strained voice and Paridhi stared at him confused.
"What?" She asked and Darshan turned to look at her.
"Don't bite your lip like that." He said and this confused Paridhi even more.
"I...err...Okay." She said shrugging. She was used to his weird comments and didn't think much about it. Darshan took a few breaths to get a complete control over himself. Seeing her bite her lip that way...was too much for him and his hormones. It was incredibly sexy and he had to struggle to maintain a control.
"Chalo, let's go." He said and Paridhi shook her head.
"No....I have to go to Jogeshwari railway station to book a ticket. I tried booking it online, but I am unable to get it."
"Ticket?"
"Haa, ticket. Arre I am going to solapur next week, my home. Did you forget it already?"
"Ohh ha. Okay then I will take you to Jogeshwari station. Come on." Darshan said and grabbed her hand. Paridhi tried to protest, but Darshan knew how to convince her and she relented in the end. It is really hard, she thought as she again sat in his car, to refuse someone you love more than you life. Half hour later, Darshan parked in front of Jogeshwari station and started to unbuckle his belt.
"Darshan" Paridhi looked at him exasperated, "aap station pe aa gaye to ladkiyo ko heart attack aa jayega. Stay in the car, I will be back in few minutes." She said and got out of the car. Knowing that he will definitely get mobbed in a railway station Darshan sat in the car, waiting for her impatiently.
