Jisung woke up so the quiet chippers of birds outside the window and the hushed voices of his friends talking in the kitchen. The sun was shining brightly through the see through glass surfaces, making beautiful golden streaks of light shine through the room, picking up all the dust particles.

For a moment, just one tiny peaceful moment, Jisung felt ok. He didn't think about everything that went wrong yesterday, nor did his heart twist in guilt and sorrow.

But once that moment passed, everything hit again at once. Tears formed in Jisung's eyes, but he didn't let them fall. He had shed far too many tears already. The boy's chest started to ache again, physically torturing Jisung as punishment for what he had burdened upon his loved one.

Jisung sighed sadly, waddling into the kitchen in the oversized clothes Chan had borrowed him the previous night. The faint whispers were now picking up, becoming stronger and more audible.

Jisung didn't care to listen to what they were talking about. In all honesty he wanted nothing but to fade back into a dreamland where everything could be perfect again, like it once was.

"Hey Jiji, how you holding up, love?" Hyunjin sweetly said, hugging Jisung and kissing the crown of his head in a motherly way.

Hyunjin was always so loud, dramatic, reckless and annoying, except for when it came to his friends' well being. Within the blink of an eye the taller could turn into the mother of the group, making anyone feel more comfortable than they'd ever been.

Jisung shook his head softly, not wanting to talk as he circled his arms around Hyunjin's waist, laying his head on the latter's shoulder.

A big hand softly massaged Jisung's shoulder, going down to rub his back from time to time.

"Would you like something to drink? You look exhausted." Chan softly asked.

Jisung let Hyunjin go and nodded his head softly, trying to force a small smile.

Chan smiled back, going to the fridge to pick up a carton of chocolate milk, pouring Jisung a glas. He handed it over to the latter, seeing Jisung eyeing the drink in confusion.

"My mom used to always give me chocolate milk when I was upset, and as stupid as it is it always made me feel better." Chan chuckled.

Jisung forced a smile and mouthed a small 'thank you' before taking a sip of the chilly and sweet drink.

Felix, whom had kept silent until now, stepped up, taking Jisung's hand in his own. He chewed softly on his lip, gaze flickering around.

"Jisung, do you wanna take a seat. I need to pass onto you a message from mom." Felix softly said.

Jisung looked at Felix, scared, but took a seat by the kitchen counter either way.

"First, know that Minho is totally ok. He's doing perfectly fine, ok? Nothing's gonna happen to Minho." Felix softly started, looking into Jisung's eyes.

Jisung gulped, nodding his head.

"Ok..."

"My mom told me that last night, after everyone had gone to sleep... Minho tried to overdose the baby on painkillers."

Jisung gasped softly, his eyes filling with tears again.

"My parents took him to the E.R., where Minho got treatment for the poisoning. The fetus died from the poisoning, but Minho is totally fine. He's doing perfectly fine." Felix cupped Jisung's cheek with one hand, wiping his tears, while his other hand held Jisung's close to his chest.

"He's in the h-hospital?" Jisung asked through tears and hyperventilating breaths.

"He's perfectly fine, dear. Minho is safe. He's healthy again. I promise." Felix hugged Jisung softly.
